This reminds me of of ye olde Thieaudio Voyager 3, but with more of a sharp shelf/less overall warmth and better extension up top. Nice to see esoteric tunings every so often!
Nah it’s not that. I think my unit is just different. More on the lines of Ian’s or HBB’s set before he took down his treble version for some reason
oh and
220 usd, same drivers as the OG OH10 I believe.
(imagine if its just tuned like my modded OH10 lol.)
uhhhhh
Well then… I’ll be very interested in seeing how they handle the gain on the OG OH10. I can’t wait to send my pair off to Mags to get it graphed - there’s some magic happening in that solid copper shell so I wonder if the same magic can be captured in this version.
Yes, Super dense mass = lower resonance point → TIGHT RUMBLY basssssss
I want this tuning for it. (my modded OH10.)
“Crafted from premium-quality copper alloy and adorned with a luxurious PVD coating”
“The upgraded single 10mm dual-magnet titanium-coated dynamic driver delivers powerful and detailed bass while preserving the beloved natural sound signature of the OH10”
At least sounds like they did not do an OH1 → OH1S change.
Big facts - I use 400 density filters on my pair, how would you say that compares to the Tanya filters in terms of density?
Interesting… I haven’t tried to do anything outside of those 400 filters but I do have 200 grade filters as well, maybe if I have some time soon I’ll experiment a little.
Closer for sure.

That sounds like it could be a great IEM. I almost pulled the trigger on PS5 but was not sold on the warm-ish tuning. It seems that the tuning will be a bit more versatile on P8.
Damn it! I just bought several other iems, but I’m a sucker for Tolkien references. I’m looking into getting a set.
I just need to know if the midbass is satisfying enough and if it is I’ll probably dive in.
