The EA500 are all I have with me atm. Admittedly listening on the louder end, but these have been so immersive. Last two tracks being Become by Beach House and All I Need by Radiohead. Humming resonance, bright details, tbh very good layering.
Sidelines by Phoebe Bridgers is going well too, itās not the best IEM for female vocals but itās still very good.

I had a moment like that with the EA500s today too. I got new tips (Whizzer SS20s) and they absolutely had the soundstage dancing in my ears like nano-machines were playing the music directly into my brain instead of me hearing it through my ears.
Those days when the brain is open to all possibilities are fun days

This is actually tuned almost exactly like the FAN OG.
At least when looking back at the original Measurement from Penon with this new 10 year anniversary model. Should be a fun and energetic set.

I know most of us donāt really go to Z for recs when it comes to IEMs but Iām so surprised he described the Meteors as being āin your faceā. I found them to be quite the opposite. I understand subjectivity but usually, it doesnāt vary this much.

Agreed - the main reason I was disappointed with them was because guitarās specifically lacked enough bite, they seemed quite laid back to me.
Idk maybe Zās ears are just the complete opposite of ours, cal

I can see the mid-bass being āin-your faceā, but other than that the treble and vocals are chillin

I can tell you that Zās earholes are L A R G E. He accidentally left his custom ADV eartips in the case when he shipped my Andromeda 2019 back to me after review, and letās just say there was enough silicone to make a model jealous
