Nevermind @Kenyon (I meant @Leonarfd :smiling_face_with_tear: I still love you too, Kenyon, my bad) and his lighting skills, how about your photoshop skills?! Teach me the ways, John!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

My methods and tools remain an enigma.

Thanks for the praise, but @domq422 you take some really nice photos yourself

I appreciate that dearly, brother / but there is no denying that you’ve absolutely honed in your craft when it comes to lighting.

Definitely appreciate that, sir.

I do use an LED with a diffuser over the LEDs, but I have not tried to break out my umbrella and set up a full nightstand with a strobe / I may give that a try in the future. That multicolored LED is super cool btw… I actually may buy that

I use 2 that are similar to that one although I never used the colored lights.

Might buy that L2 one though.

Having 3 lights is pretty useful afaik.

I assume I am either very happy with my current stable of IEMs, or something is wrong with me.

I have been listening to the same handful of IEMs, and with one exception ( Hype2 ) haven’t really thought about another pair for a month. My current collection has some great IEMs in it, with the Tea, Tea2, P1 Max, Kailua, Olina SE, and Tanchjim One DSP.

Is this what reaching the endgame feels like?

I’ve been pretty content since I have Vulkan and Azul.
I got some budget looking for an EDC for traveling.
I am eyeing more expensive sets but I’m not in a hurry and I get to see what sticks instead of following hype trains.

Ordered! Expect a review with DTE 900 together with HYPЕ2 for metal music. I decided to skip Prestige… :fire: :beers:

3 weeks before 11.11… I would have waited for possible discounts

Will be interested in hearing your thoughts.

the fte900 graph looks MUCH brighter and more aggressive on the upper midrange than prestige.

and after 10k(where ests do the job), the spl falls off, like the 4 ests do absolutely nothing here.

reminds me of this quote from thieaudio

Yes. But according to most dudes the Prestige won’t be much of an upgrade on my KL MK2. And FR is not all… But we’ll see soon

I am by no means educated enough about drivers and such, but seem like EST drivers can work on a wide range even up to 100k hz. If so we shouldn’t hear them, but even so people seem to be more impressed by a tribrid with est than a hybrid without.

Also I am always sceptical to measurements above 10k hz.
