Ikko OH10 New Flagship

This mirrors my thoughts exactly, although I would add that the OH1 is a little more balanced while the OH10 is a touch warmer.

That’s also true. The oh10 ends up being slightly more v shaped or fun sounding, where I think the oh1 is tuned for a wider variety of music

Should I get the OH1’s for £85?

That’s a pretty good price, so I don’t think that it would be a bad idea. That’s about $40 less then we can get it in the states from amazon

So from what I can tell the KXXS is more neutral and should have decent/good soundstage due to the peak in the upper treble frequencies. Makes me tasty for it too… :frowning:

The kxxs is pretty nice as well, and has a pretty good cable. It works well with most genre and is more neutral sounding. Also more comfortable imo if weight bothers you

Although I liked the cable on the kanas pro better

I get why the DMGs have a bad rep now…their midbass is too forward and the only way I can describe it is BLARING.
Comparing to the zs10 Pro, it’s less clear and crowds the mids too much, making the music feel quite compressed.
I should get the OH1’s in a few days…can’t wait

Well hope you enjoy them!

I would say so. Seems like a sharp muddy V to me… Also all three seemed to share the same bass so I just chose the black etc.

Would a grill mod further improve them??? Just curious, I’ve not modded earphones etc.

Wow, the difference is great. The OH1’s sound much clearer that the DMG. Much more separation between bass and vocals.

How do these compare to Fiio FA7? I really like the FA7 but sometimes id like a bit more body and weight to the low end.

I would say that they do have more body and weight to the subbass, especially with silicone tips, but are not as detailed as the fa7. Although that being said, the bass is stronger on the fa7 and the fa7 is a warmer sound then the more v shaped oh10

What dou you recommend?
The tfz no3 is in my country for € 128The ikko oh10 for € 210.

I’m looking for an in ear to listen to edm, tropical house, pop and watch movies.Something off-road maybe.

What do you mean by “off-road”? If you want something more durable, the oh10 is very solid and heavy feeling, and does not feel fragile. That being said, I wouldn’t want to drop either of them from a large height.

If you have the budget, I would say the oh10 is going to be the better choice because of the sound signature and better detail. If you don’t want to spend that much, the tfz no3 is great as well

It would be for edm, pop, listening to music from movies etc. With off road I want to say that I was looking for an iem that can reproduce several genres well.I doubt between the tfz no3 and the ikko oh10.

So paying 100 euros more is worth it?

They are actually tuned kinda similarly, but the oh10 has more detail and better treble response. If you want something that you could use with a wider genre / range of music, the oh1 might be what you are looking for

I have one more consultation. It’s the last one and it’s short. There is also the possibility of moondrop kxxs which is somewhat cheaper than the ikko oh10.

What do you think?
It would be for the same, edm, tropical house, modern pop (little), classic movies.

TFZ no3 128€
Moondrop kxxs 169€
Ikko oh10 220€

I would say the moondrop kxxs would be the best for the widest range of music, and the oh10 would have better soundstage and bass, so I would say if you want the better all rounder the kxxs might be better in that regard

I think so.

Now i have Tin t3 and kz zsx.
Some user told me that tin t3 is quite similar tan oh10.
