I'm completely lost

AD 500x, not adx. There’s just too many damn numbers and letters

Pretty solid, not as near as comfy to me but really nice for competitive gaming. They do really well with imaging but do really lack bass and have a brighter signature, which makes them good for competitive gaming but not really great with music. But if you want pure competitive aspect that actually might be my choice but there are more trade offs than the msr7 in other aspects besides gaming

Yeah my brain loses it with all these names lol.

Would you choose them over the pc37x (game one) as well? Those were up for consideration too I think.

So that would be another one down from the list, right?
I mean I do want some bass and I am not an extremely competitive player.

It sounds like it. Have you listened to open backs in general? Just for comparison sake. I just ask because for me, I prefer open backs hands down for gaming though some still like closer. But then I like opens for everything more so maybe I’m biased lol.

I don’t think I have ever listened to an open-back pair. I only take the advice from strangers on the internet that they’re better:). Usually, when people who know what they’re talking about, they’re mostly right and I agree with them

Gotcha, then I would say the msr7 would be a solid pick or the pc37x/game one if you wanted a mic

Do you know amything about the AKG K371?

I own one, pretty nice headphone, harman neutral tuned with good technicalities, nice for music and also really good for portable too. They preform fairly well for casual and decent for competitive, but might not be exactly my first pick if I wanted competitive performance

So they’re kind of neutral. Not too much bass or treble, not too terrible for games either. Somewhere right in the middle.

They do have a slight subbass emphasis but it’s not an issue imo, it’s fairly well controlled

If anyone knows anything on here or basically anywhere it’s M0N. It comes down to preference with open vs closed really. I like open more for both music and games because they just sound more natural to me. Good for gaming because it helps create that natural space and usually better directional accuracy. Also takes away that boxed in or clam shell feeling that I get but some don’t seem bothered by. Usually results in less bass of course but more accurate sounds than closed backs. Unless you go into the expensive closed back area.

But again it comes down to preference. Hard to really know if you haven’t heard them yet.

Now Zeos also made a video comparing the ATH M40x’s and the Yamaha MT5. Should I even consider any of the 2 compared to the others I have found?
I mean, he said that they more for fun than actual gaming or anything else, so I don’t suspect them to be something spectacular. He also mentioned that the stock pads on both headphones are really bad and additional ones would be better, which is something I don’t think I’ll waste my money on

coolermaster m751h. its better then the senn’s imo sound wise and way more comfortable. bass is present and clean, but not strong. the rest of the range is pretty great for the price. i have a lot of headphones, and my old lady uses the 751’s over my much more expensive headphones cause they sound almost as good, and are so so so comfortable. mic quality is great on them too.

they are also one of the cheaper options mentioned, cheaper enough that the savings over the senn’s puts you halfway to a dedicated amp.

edit:typo

Only problem is, they don’t sell in Romania.

ahh shucks, thats to bad =(

isnt romania part of the EU?

It is, yes.

this seems obvious to me, but theres probably a reason: why not drive to germany or italy and get what ya want? half a day road trip.
