So, ahhh, how bout them iems?
Again, you continue to fail to see how that’s ironic and contradictory to your own statement. And funny how you bring up Reddit when you’re acting like the typical redditor, guess it’s just projection hun lol
I’m moving on because this isn’t getting anywhere and it’s a waste of everyone’s time because you fail to do what you preach. I’ve already said and explained everything I need to say, if you choose to ignore that then that’s on you.
Real curious about those lil’ open back buddies…
Graphing them soon
Yes, I’m sorry for the massive derail. Truly sorry. Sincere.
I’m vanishing from this thread – everyone can start their round of grateful applause.
Interesting treble there, looks like ~7db down from the pinna and then some spice from 8-10k.
If it is truly an open back (and not fake like i believe some other iems have been before) then the upper-treble void is not as bad as it looks and is a given due to open-back.
But yeah that pinna gain and then maybe 8-10k peak doesnt look fun.
Guess we’ll find out, and maybe easier to tame with some filters/eq? IIRC it’s fairly cheap in cost as well?
With how it looks I do not think that nozzle damping will do much for neither that pinna peak nor the 9k area. (unless u DRASTICALLY change the bass shelf and the entire thing.)
But yeah it is pretty cheap at 50 usd.
It is only a 10mm DD, so cant say if its good with eq or not. But the EX800st/1000 are champs at that not to mention the isine planars.
Even those 2 Planars there have very little upper-treble.
The Isine looks like a Koss KSC75 + iem, huge 30mm Planar for an “iem”.
Lol at least it’s consistent!
Check if it has isolation or not (easy way to check if it is actually open or not).
But yeah, with how that looks that 8k peak might be fake as it is pretty narrow.
I’m gonna cover the vents and graph it and see if that changes anything lol
With how it looks I would assume it is a bit more closed than the sony ex800st, but if it works like that then u should be getting giga bass after vent block.
And does it isolate like an average iem?
