That’s a damn successful haul.
I ended up getting the Muse Hifi M5 Ultra, some cables, some tips and I’m calling it a day.

thats a beefy boi there. I probably will go for a DAP next sale if i could get a nice one for a decent price. Halting my iem journey for now
Gotta save up for that NAS.
I can’t, apple’s got my family (literally we have the bundle lol)
rip. You could setup a NAS and then your whole family could share that same music server via Navidrome though.
I used the -50 discount to get the super mix 4. Ended up
paying 80 euros, which is almost half the original msrp (it was already discounted).
I got a few IEM cables, Kiwi Melody and another Estrella. I leant my first to a friend and he loved it so much I’ve had to let him keep it… Maxed out that £50 voucher on AliExpress, and that was on top of the existing sale prices
Jesus save some for the rest of us bro
Hope everyone got what they wanted this 11.11
someone has to make up for those of us that are underwhelmed by what’s on sale this time around
I usually at least grab tips at big discount but I can’t even be bothered this year.
In a weird way, I did get what I wanted this 11/11. I didn’t accumulate extra stuff and focused on optimizing what I have which was pretty fun in it’s own right.
Not getting sucked down the 11.11 hole is the biggest W
I almost got what I wanted…
I didn’t buy anything
But that doesn’t mean I didn’t spend a lot of time checking things out, padding carts and trying coupons
I saved money but still let it waste my time. Maybe next year I can do better!
For anyone taking Jay’s rec on upgrading from the SM4 to the EM10; yes it is worth it. However, the EM10 is more reliant on a source to be engaging. I find it a fun listen half the time but I just got this R4 this morning and man does the EM10 sound jacked. It’s really punchy and full. One of my only other critiques of the EM10 was it can sometimes be a tad mid-bass light. The R4 adds just a touch. EM10 on an R4 sounds really good; dynamic, spacious, detailed and “correct”.
Hope you waste lots of money next sale!!
@Go-Kart Honestly the Supermix4 is enough for most people, but ya a slight upgrade
Really?? I’d have assume the P7 would be better since it seems smoother and more linear.
Nah P7 doesn’t work as a mid-volume or high-volume set
If you’re at mid-volume the vocals sound recessed and weak on the P7 with no dynamics, and the small 6mm DDs don’t push hard enough for the low-end to be engaging. Then when you try to crank them up the treble sounds too much
The DK62 strikes that nice balance in the vocals at mid-volume, good thumpy bass, balanced, but with just enough contrast that it’s not peaky, and there’s no planar timbre in the treble (sizzliness)
Unless you want a really chill and relaxing set (I’d just go Explorer in that case), it’s DK62 for me in-terms of enjoyability
Jay always coming through with the brain-rattling volume haha
A man of taste!
In all seriousness it shows how sensitive I can be to midrange/treble that the Explorers are only just “laid back” for me when I’m listening.
I’d say depends on chain. Though the SM4 is such good value, yeh, it would seem hard to justify spending triple. If your source is powerful and more detailed, the EM10 really pulls ahead noticeably
