Made a quick upgrade guide for y’all :sunglasses:

Some of my 11/11 stuff turned up. First thing that landed was my second set of Estrella. I’ve said it a few times across different threads/forums but I’ll say it again here, Estrella is sick. @VIVIDICI_111, you nailed it.

Country Core fucking delivers on Estrella :ok_hand:

Hydro is solid

They usually go for around $90 on sale which is very niice

I have been trying to resist. I just snagged a couple IEMs on 11.11, but the Arcadia seems like my cup of tea. Actually the graph reminds of a Tea 2 with just a bit more bass, which sounds sort of wonderul.

Arcadia’s great if you want a bassier Explorer that also scales amazingly

Very good for hiphop and rock at higher volumes

Compared to the Explorer, brother Jay, how’s the bass quality? The explorers bass is super fun but it is on the slightly mushy side relatively speaking.
Curious to hear your thoughts

Better than Explorer - feels more bouncy and better textured, not a night a day difference, but ya

PULA ANVIL

Basically, it’s a worse version of the Tea Pros. Feels like they tried to copy it and failed lol

Timbre is off to me - feels grainy/metallicy on some songs

Bass is punchy, but I’m not getting the vibrating/shaking feeling on the BCD… aka it’s a meme XD

Just save up for the Tea Pros or grab the CKLVX D62 (with sancai wide)

Testing birds of a feather in the first 15 seconds with the drums - on the Bajie the BCD is already very subtle, but you can still feel a little reverb/shake going down into your chest area in the decay, whereas same song on the Anvil the sound stays above your neck and inside your head kinda feeling, pretty much no extended decay or reverb/shake

Tea Pro be goated. It’s a rare iem that grows on me over time. Glad to hear that it’s better than the Anvil lol

I think a lot of things are better than the Anvil :joy: Even the 5+2 - at least the bass on that is tight and more resolving, the Anvil’s low-end feels low-res and smooth like the 61T

For me out of the 3 that recently came out it’d be CKLVX D62 (with sancai wide)>>>5+2>>>Anvil

Well hell, there goes another $200. Jk, I will wait for a sale.

I have been waiting on hyped sets to see where people are a couple months later, and that one seems to be building steam. I figure I will wait until after Christmas to look seriously.

I also need to figure out if I need the Tea Pro ( I love the other two ).

I am enjoying the MagicOne and it works great for classic rock. It is absurd that is a single BA. It sounds really smooth, and the only knock is the lack of impact. It is a nice contrast to the Explorer. Aful is doing some amazing stuff.

I really digged Aful’s earlier stuff like the Explorer, and even the Magic One if you want something warm… the Cantor and 5+2 tho… XD

Either way I don’t think you can go wrong with the Tea Pros or Arcadia, both are very solid sets

the era of the reviewer collab wars is here

Who’s collab is this??

Tonedeafmonk i think. He named it the Anvil

He tuned this? I heard rumors that he named it, but it does makes sense if he helped tune this lol

Just get the D62 with Sancai wide, does what the Anvil’s trying to do but better, or save up for the Tea Pros

He didn’t tune it, but said to have more mid-bass, which is his preference. That’s a bit selfish imo

oh I figured it was a silent collab since he named it. could be wrong
