WANER 2 REVIEW
Is that good or bad??
Good if you like harman, bad if not.
Missed opportunity to call it “The Harmanizer”.
Mine sounds more like this:
Sub-bass boost harman with thicker vocals
Overall pretty decent for a $50 headphone, build is also nice, and very soft/comfy pads… but the treble just isn’t as refined as some of the IEMs at $50 like the Klean, EP5 sounds more like a $20 iem, treble reminds me of OG 7Hz Zero with slight metallic-ness
Edit: wait the EP5 is $85 uhh
They may be using a different coupler.
But it does look kinda spicy with the treble. Guessing they need to dampen it more.
Yeah on Linsoul. Over on taobao its around 50 usd.
Oh boy, let’s not get started on “phase” discussions.
Regardless, sorry to hear you’re not happy with your new IEMs. Always sucks when a new toy doesn’t live up to expectations.
My parents say “It’s just a phase”, but I’m pretty sure my 2-pin connectors are backwards.
as annoying as is to do returns i’d probably just make an out of phase adapter out of my pile of diy parts. what would be really annoying is if only one side was swapped
Phase or Polarity
Or Both ?
It is very hard for me to notice inverse polarity, it there any test such as these ?
I heard few instruments that dont have symmetric waveform can be used to check polarity issue but , I don’t have any clue
Makes sense for speakers where L/R interact in the air. Does not make sense for IEMs since there’s no risk of channel interference. Any difference is psychoacoustic (which is fine, it seems to matter for some people).
out of phase is very obvious as you can check with my video above. Inverted polarity however wont make a audible difference.
