Dream that dream, player!

Yup, that’s the pre-production Cad 12, I like it better than the retail version. I believe you can ask them to tune it to the pre-production version when you buy new. Doesn’t hurt to ask :man_shrugging:

Is there a FR somewhere pre-production Cad 12?

Could you compare the graph of pre-prod Cadenza 12 to Cadenza4?

Don´t make me do stupid things!

Go and buy a Storm! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:  :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Super review’s unit for some reason is very different from the others, looks good tho

That unit looks bassyier than mine
All my measurements go through a ESS EPZ TP30 now, I find the bass more accurately represented.

Thieaudio Hype 4 & 10:

Ok this second unit of the 4 looks a lot different than my first one (which got deleted cuz I was an idiot)

Oh boi this will be fun

You have all three hypes in at the same time?

Yup

Quick First Impressions:

Hype 10:
-Most resolving
-Soundstage feels the most open
-Cymbal and vocal details are the best out of the 3
-Most airy, cymbals are very splashy and easier to pick out

Hype 4:
-The most low-end emphasis (less uppermids/air shifts focus on to low-end more)
-Vocal isn’t as detailed as the 10
-Not as resolving/feels more smoothed out compared to 10
-Bass quality is the same as 10

Hype 2:
-The least resolving out of the 3 (similar to Hype 4, but 4 is slightly better)
-Least bassy, and is the cleanest
-My unit has less bass and a lot more uppermids vs some other Hype 2s so take that in ind (unit variance?)
-Has a lighter/sweet presentation compared to the other 3
-Not as smooth as the other 2 as vocals lean towards a brighter presentation

hmm, guess the mids drivers in Cincotres really are the same as hype4, marketing material wasn’t too exacting.
wonder if their bass crossover point is much different sounding given the cinco dip

Tea 2’s for $193?!? :eyes:
Really? or do you mean the ziigaats?

Dang, did Ziigaat undercut Hype 4 with Cincotres or what! It looks like hard times for the anyone who popped the money for Hype 4.

Also, you have 5 versions of the Thieaudio tuning…if KZ/CCA did this, they’d get roasted and they do it for $20-50. Thieaudio playing this game for 10x the price?

Get 'em Jay!

That’s not true Gooby. Thie’s tuning is good. KZ are far from the mastery of the Thieaudio guys. Just saying.

5 sets of “barely different” tunings from $250-900?

Nope, not getting a pass from me for that. 2-3 of these sets do not need to exist. Period
