If you look in your manual for the su8 there are some graphs that show what it does to the sound. I don’t think I can explain this one in simple terms lol

When I download this driver its a word doc. No drivers on the smsl site are zip files on my end. Tried other sites just to see if it was my pc acting weird and other sites work fine. Odd…

I’m just curious if anybody has heard the SU-8, D50S and Enog2 Pro and can do a quick comparison? Is it even worth it to upgrade past this price point for Delta Sigma DACs? I have the Enog2 pro and wanted to see how it compares to the SU-8 and D50S…

I think the enog 2 pro is actually the best sounding by a slight margin lol (when balanced). The d50s is the best preforming with unbalanced, and the su8 just has lots of features. So for highest quality, the enog 2 pro is my pick, if you want the most features su8, and if you have unbalanced d50s is the pick

If you really wanted to upgrade I would recommend looking in the 500-1k range imo for Sigma Delta

I think those are all solid offerings for sigma delta more traditional dacs, yeah I think you would want to jump to that range

Does anyone find their unit so be over sourcing their signal? I find I had to lower my volume in windows and on the DAC quite significantly to get any sort of movement in my el amp’s volume. Distortion would creep in well before normal listening levels otherwise I found.
