Ye thatās a really good EP, I didnāt like their newest album that much tho, the one thatās only on bandcamp

Yeah build isnāt their strong suit tbh. You can just max the volume as I do so you know itās exactly the same and control volume elsewhere
well, where elsewhere, if i do it in windows that means Iām maxing the amp, well the energizerās power so more distorsion so thats a no no
Well you would just want to get something like a schiit sys or a mackie big knob (or a Fostex Pc-1e if you can find one). You would then max your volume on windows and use a line out of your motherboard if you donāt want to get a dac
Idk this seems like such a hassle, I will keep these in mind for the future, but like it needs more money cuz the knobās cursed and it needs bass boost as well, also the air region seems subdued, while I can get Elex or Edition XX for the same money and they just work and donāt need anythingā¦
Very true, it comes down to preference. Also you would want an amp and dac for your choice so make sure to factor that

This is a good passive preamp. Nice feeling knob. I use it with the Emotiva A-100ā¦ as that amp too big to have on my desk.
Alrightā¦itās here. Tell me what to listen for that makes them distinctly electrostatic
The speed and separation. Also the different timbre. Also very open sounding and let sound pass pretty feely

Yeah the layering is impressive. Also yes the bass was just fine for me as well, especially for an estat
Iāve had these on and playing for only 2 days nowā¦and I now understand the statement āOnce you go 'Stats (Stax?) you canāt go backā.
If these are any indication of what the electrostatic world has to offer, I may have to end up selling everything else I own at this point.
Itās the sound I have been searching through planar after planar and never really finding one that hit the spot.
