New cooler installed… wasn’t as bad as I remembered and was easier to install than my old cooler but now to figure out how to plug in my 8 pin

Figured it out ignore the cup I was eating ice cream. I just had to I stall the pin while the motherboard is out of the case . Infinite the cast that the top exhaust isn’t spinning I haven’t set my fan curves yet I used to have it not spin at certain temps as a indicator or what the temps are on my old cooler. It used to always spin though on the odd occasion the temps were somehow below 40 degrees c

I saw ur rant about horizon earlier just remembered it was you. Complaining about bad performance. Well reading up aparently it works amazingly on amd gpus like the 5800xt runs on ultra 1440p just fine. 4k if u bave a good cpu. So no surprise really to say the game was made for amd apus. Could be the game just really aint optimised for nvidia gpus.
would not be surprised cause the ps4 is a amd based system. so the engine is probably well optimized for amd based pcs. its not only frame issues for me thought he game itself crashes
yeah theres that too, its seems very hit and miss. Ive seen people playing perfectly fine on ultra 0 crashes but also people struggling to even play on low with high end systems.
I gotta’ wonder, is it worth it to get the RX 5700 XT or just wait for the new cards? I have an RX 580 with me but it’s not the 8GB version for there was no stock, so I had to settle with the 4GB version instead. I know I won’t be able to get it’s maximum potential due to the decreased VRAM but so far it has been good to me.
Wait for the new cards and then buy a price reduced 5700xt, email I got yesterday still had them around 400$, fine for me when I bought it much closer to launch but if you’re not having issues with the 580 currently, wait for them sweet savings!
Yeah that would be a better idea, also I hope AMD can get it together on resolving some of the issues that the 5700XT has.
There is always a bigger fish. Need a card now, buy now.

Nah I think I’ll wait and then maybe get myself an RTX 2080Ti or an RX 5700 XT for a lower price.
IIRC you can fit 8 CPUs into an eServer X445, does not make it any less loud (120W of fans in there) or faster, but technically

It sucks, I cannot use my main rig due to the fact that after cleaning it with compressed air, it does not turn on anymore. It’s really unfortunate and I am sure that I have checked all of the wires and all of them are connected firmly, and not a single one was loose. Also I tried using a spare PSU for it in order to power up but it didn’t work and yes the switch for the PSU was also on for it. Now my resort is just take it to a technician, though I fear that the motherboard might have died or worse, my Ryzen 5 CPU which I hope to god is not the case. Because of that, I am not even sure if I should clean my PC ever again.
