Just finished re-watching “Tropic Thunder”

Lots of great scenes and one-liners, but perhaps a bit “slower” in the beginning than i remembered. Sill worth a watch, and remember “you never go full retard!”

The Hunt (2012) - Superb movie dealing with the fragile relationships between adults and children
Snowpiercer (2013) - Dystopian picture all about reaching the front of the train
Tron Legacy (2010) - Watch it for the soundtrack.

I watched Vivarium last night (Prime video). Weird wtf kinda movie that leaves a lot of questions but was engaging the entire time.

Thom Yorke “Anima” on Netflix is awesome with good music(listen with headphones!)

I watched the movie “Akimbo” a few weeks back. If you don’t have anything to do and want something weird and ‘action’, you’ll like it! You’ll know why I put action in parentheses once you watch it xD

Saw that one a little while ago, and i enjoyed it quite a bit… a proper “popcorn” movie, just relax and turn off your brain for 90minutes and enjoy  Reminded me a bit of the “Crank” movies with jason statham somehow

Watched “The martian” tonight ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3659388/ ) …

A bit late to the party, but never got around to see it when it was released. Liked the visuals, and even thought the story/plot was pretty straight forward, i liked it overall. Felt it was a bit long, but then i watched the extened version so perhaps the cinema release would have been a better choice (not sure how much they added though).

Current Watch list
Hagazussa a gothic folk tale
50s War of the Worlds
One cut of the dead
tigers are not afraid

Watched “The Lighthouse” last night. This is almost required viewing for those in quarantine with others. A great lovecraft tinged story of two people driving each other mad.

Elysium on appletv is in dolbyvision/atmos.

Umbrella academy new ep. sounds good.

Another tense Lighthouse based film I’d rec is…

The Room, always a good rewatch when you need to get some laughs after a miserable day.
