Lets talk about your tips! ;)

These are just way too good that I had ordered 3 pairs of these. The Spring Tips M-size just really fits me well with balance of both comfort and seal. Wish it could have been the same to some people though.

Could you compare sound between azla and the spring tips?

I was pretty happy with the type e but now after a while they became much more slipperyā€¦ Maybe it is also due to the weather changing as it is warmer nowā€¦ No idea but it is annoying.

I have the azla here in M and L but now I am curious about the spring tips

It feels like the highs are more harsh on the xelastec compared to the final e so I am wondering how the spring tips are

I find the spinfits solid but for me there are better. I like the Sedna shorts and the BGVP 1 better on my Timeless with the later giving the soundscape more depth and heighth. The problem is we all have different ear canals and preferences. We are never going to have one that works for all of us. Spinfits are always a great place to start. I live in USA the BGs must get here by snail express. Your mileage may vary.

Have not tried moon drops seems like another extremely long wait for them. I am talking months lol. They seem interesting !

I am also a bit confused about the sizing of the spring tips

With the the Azla i usually have ML or L, depending on the IEMā€¦but the biggest of the spring tips does not even come close to that diameterā€¦is it because of deeper insertion?

Letā€™s say it like this:

Moondrop Spring Tips
S-size: is SS-size
M-size: is S-size
L-size: is M-size

Yeah, from what I saw from the Moondrop Kato reviews, most of them were using the L-size Spring Tips for it fits their ears more, while as for me, the M-size tips just works well with me enough, perfect balanced of seal and comfort.

If youā€™re using ML-L azla tips i wouldnā€™t bother with spring tips, i have to use SS while i can comfortably fit a medium on spring tips
In regards to sound, anecdotally most tips sound indistinguishably similar, wide bores seem to increase treble and narrow bores donā€™t, so Iā€™d focus way more on comfort, of which its way easier for me to notice than sound differencee, and of which i prefer the crystals

Has anyone ever tried Crystalline Audio foam tips? They fit me better than any other foam. Are they clones of another popular foam type? I bought some from E-earphones in Tokyo and have yet to ever see them for sale anywhere else. Even sent an email to their contact us page and didnā€™t get any response.

Ah ok thanks for the feedback, then it really does not make sense for me to try spring tips but its a bit weird that they only offer such small onesā€¦
Will stick with my xelastecs for now

Sadly, the medium size Spring Tips donā€™t show ā€œMoondorpā€ like the 3D promotional graphic.

Spring Tips are shallow fitting designed for IEMs with longer nozzles.

Azla tips tend to run a half size larger than their labels.

Yeah I agree, the Spring Tips are only for IEMs have long nozzles and probably the reason why it goes so very well with my T3 Plus. I have no issue with the fit with my Katos though, but when it comes to my Starfields and Arias, itā€™s a bit weird for me since I am not getting a lot of seal from those two, other than the two IEMs that I have I mentioned.

I have medium Spring Tips on my Starfield, I might switch to Large when my CHUs arrive.

Iem fit in general is difficult for me, medium final tips work for me on certain iems but on others itā€™s too big (tin P1), I use spinfit for those and they certainly are more comfortable but I wonder if my medium are a bit too big as they sometimes slip off or feel uncomfortable so maybe my ears are much smaller than I thought

Anyone wanna swap some eartips with me? I have AZLA SednaEarfitLight M and MS, one pair each. Iā€™m looking for Spiral Dots, Radius Deep Mount, or ePro Horns, all probably M size. I will of course wash these in ethanol then water before mailing.

I have one for the Radius Deep Mount, and I bought all of it sizes as well. I have not been using lately, probably because of its unusual fit or because I already have the Moondrop Spring Tips just being the perfect overall ear tips for me so far.

I too would love to try the deep mount tips. Unfortunately, for whatever reason I cannot find them at a reasonable price here in the states. Iā€™ve found them on eBay for something like $20 but with $20 shipping ā€¦ thatā€™s a hard pass :smiling_face_with_tear:

Yeah I think the only reliable way of sourcing them is through Amazon JP :sob:

I believe @Rikudou_Goku linked me to a AmazonJP listing, Iā€™m just unaware of how that process goes as Iā€™ve never ordered something through AmazonJP ā€¦ Iā€™ll just be on the look out if someone would like to let go of their pair I suppose

Yes, I bought them on amazon jp and pretty sure I havent seen it elsewhere.

They use DHL express when they ship, VAT is paid directly so you dont need to pay any other fees after paying on amazon.
