I ordered them and 2 different sizes of spirals for 40$ usd so i think they should be affordable, i just dont know shipping costs.
++ spirals are not the same. They are stickier, but they are so soft I think you lose low end so maybe similar to spring tips. Go for the og ones due to them being 1/3 the cost to see if you like them first imo.
exactly my impressions.
That’s good to know - losing any kind of low end is an immediate deal breaker for me.
Same, they were a big investment for me to be let down. They are good, but spring tips do it as good for alot cheaper and then you get stickier ones like Xlastec ones that have better overall sound so it didnt have a strong place for me personally. I keep using the crystals, final type e, and horn tips. We will see if the spinfits can be added along side the re-upped og spirals and deep mounts.
Cp100 and 360s are what I grabbed for transparency.
Edit: anyone try the w spinfits yet? Curious if they are worth adding as well.
I love the crystals - they are by far the best aftermarket tip I’ve paid for, I was genuinely happy after trying those out. They’re the best tip for me when it comes to fitting the MMKII for longer sessions. The ePros are nice as well, but I can’t get them to go into my ears as deep as I’d like for that added security because they’re so pliable. I may have the wrong size tbh. I’ve been thinking of picking up a pair of the small size just to see. The type e is another tip I’ve always wanted to try. Maybe next paycheck I’ll just do a big tip dump - we shall see.
The W-1s are really good but not “$20 when everything else in the family is $13 or less” good
Overpriced but good. Like everything in this hobby.
Not true at all but you do have to search out the good, cheap stuff
“Like most things in this hobby” would have been more appropriate
That’s facts
So the ie600 tips have this interesting two step setup so you can put the tips on at two different insertion levels which is pretty cool. Unfortunately those tips are super pliable so I’m not the biggest fan of them. Anyone know any other tips that have a two insertion depths inside the tip stem?
I’m honestly loving the moondrop spring tips on my FD5. There’s something about it that made the overall bass just that much more satisfying.
Treble seems more controlled and not as peaky too compared to my usual CP100+ tips (Now transfered to my Olina SE.)
Agree.
They are more expensive but you get 3 sizes
@Rikudou_Goku hey, also everyone else. I just checked Amazon jp and I just seen, but are you aware of the deep mount clears? It looks like a varriant with different materials. Have you checked them out?
Oh yeah, I got them weeks ago. Sounds the same to me.
Good to know, sorry for covering old hat news then, but came as a shocker since I had not seen them yet.
Sounds like I’m gonna be getting some new tips
What’s the deal with those BGVP tips? Are they really that good?
