šŸ”¶ Mangird TEA (6 BA/1DD)

I donā€™t think so. If you didnā€™t like the original Tea, this version will not change your mind. I also realised that the shape of the faceplate is more flat and less rounded than original, so they donā€™t protrude as much.

UGH, do I need to buy a second now? Love the Tea.

If I may askā€¦ what was the problem with them that required a return?

Wellā€¦ I just purchased a used set this morning. Appears to be the latest iteration.

comparison with other iems please,
thank you,

Do you want pictures of the Mangird and other IEMs for comparison or explanations of how the Mangird Tea sounds to other IEMs?

I took a bunch of pictures of the Mangird Tea and other IEMs for Riku in some thread. Iā€™ll try finding it and linking it here for you.

We need to know what IEMs you want the Tea compared too visual or audio.

I ordered the Tea from Linsoul in December and received the newer version in January. Sadly, the rigjt-hand side DD failed. Theyā€™re on their way back to Linsoul for replacement. Itā€™s going to be a long wait.

Tea are my most capable (and $$) set. They create a sense of space and separation thatā€™s addicting. Iā€™m admittedly not a huge Aerosmith fan, but they deserve a shout out for the mix in Sweet Emotion. The way Tea presents this song is rediculously deep. If you have the Tea, check it out.

Tea mids are glorious (for me) with lots of detail and no in-your-face glare. Itā€™s easy to crank the volume and not get fatigued. Bass is likely correct, but I bump it 2 db usually. Overall, I love them.

Iā€™m with yaā€¦

Iā€™ve not heard Peter Greenā€™s Albatross as lush and detailed, as I have with these.

Anyone who thinks the Teas are weak in sub-bass/bassā€¦ a listen to Lovebirds, Dove Sei (Original Deep Mix) will confirm otherwise. And any Billie Eilish as well, they go deep and tight.

Acoustic guitar - Nils Lofgren, Acoustic Live, Keith Donā€™t Goā€¦ itā€™s ALL there.

Helen Merill, Helen Merill, Whatā€™s Newā€¦ at 1:16 there is no S-sibilance. All my sub $100 sets, itā€™s there. Not the Tea.

Now I know why you have these at A+ on your list. Lapping up all of Zeppelin II tonight.

The Blon 01 is goodā€¦ but these Teas give an impeccably accurate playback. Whoa, and Whoa. :yum:

Blon 01 - $20, Tripowin TC-01 - $50, Shozy 1.1 - $75, iBasso IT01 - $85

Mangird Tea - $230 and worth every penny. Iā€™m done. :sunglasses:

Mangird TEA is a beast and for the money its one of the best deals in the game.

Got my set last week with some Azla tips and have been very much enjoying them. Came from some Hisenior T2ā€™s which although gorgeously detailed in the mids, they were only that. Wanted something that still had forward vocals and the Teaā€™s are so much more energetic and full.

Not an audio buff by any means but Iā€™m finding they compliment my K712 Pro quite nicely for something portable? (might be out of my mind here)

Not out of your mindā€¦ I think the TEA has a rather spacious and deep sound stage.

It is difficult for me to imagine what a higher tier IEM with similar tuning might sound like. But of course, Iā€™m a neophyte in the ā€œaudiophileā€ world. So for now, adding to my ā€œiem collectionā€ has stopped cold in itā€™s tracks.

So, after a bit of waiting I have received my Teas, and unfortunately my ears donā€™t like them.
I canā€™t get a good fit, I got probably 100+ pairs of various tips and I havenā€™t been able to find a match :frowning:

When i found tips that got a seal - any movement of my jaw and I lose the seal.

They sound great, I canā€™t say much more though as I wasnā€™t able to use them for more than 5 minutes at a time. Too bad.

Theyā€™re a rather deep insertion iemā€¦ but still losing the sealā€¦ that is too bad. :sleepy:

The semi-transparent silicone that are included with the set, work the best for me.

any movement and you loose the seal?
xelastec is your friend.

Can confirm, xelastec tips solved the impossible fit for the Clairvoyance (their shell is huge).

IMPORTANT: get a size smaller than what you would normally use. Iā€™m usually an M, but Iā€™m currently using the XS!
They expand when they get in your ear so thatā€™s why I guess

Thanks, already ordered a few sizes, but theyā€™re coming from the US so gonna wait a few days
