Itās just a phone holderā¦ It keeps everything in place and super easy access to the volume control while Iām working.
Awesome. I was gonna 3D print something similar but Iāll just pick one of those up for $8.
The Aiva has enough bass for me and I really enjoy it. Although, there has been a couple of times I wanted them to dig a little deeper. Sometimes it also feels a little bloated in the mids, but it doesnāt bother me. They are a tad harsh if I donāt eq them. I typically take the treble down a few decibels and put the bass up 1.5. This headphone just sounds great to me when I listen to EDM and hip hop. I think for my tastes the CX is probably the better all around fit for me, guess there is only one way to find out haha. Really appreciate the comparisons and responses.
I just hopped on the hype train for the Tin P1ā¦ Hoping that will be a nice little addition to the office setup and for travel. Now I am on the hunt for a portable that can do the Tin P1 and CX justiceā¦ Will the 788 do the trick? Funny I have had my eye on it and sure enough you guys are talking about it above lol.

Well as long as Zeos continues to hype it up as the best amp your going to continue to see that attitude here on this forum. Also I imagine the great majority of people buying it are at least considering to use balanced.

Iāll say it again, the 788 is all you ever need. Portable/desktop, it doesnāt matter. Itās amazing.

Well, I have a THX AAA 789 coming in September and am looking forward to it. I currently have a balanced Dac that Iām using. I believe it is the DC- 1 from Emotiva and has done the job quite well running my Powered Monitors balanced. However, now with the 789 arriving I wanted to be able to switch between the balanced inputs of my speakers and the 789 using the DC-1 Dac. I found a Balance switch that is one input in and 3 out. Iām hoping that it would be compatible and allow me to switch the DAC source between my speakers and headphone amp. I just wanted to see if people think it will work I am new to this hobby so I am still learning all the technical capabilities and limitations of gear.
Your help is much appreciated.

Single ended, it is neeeeeaaaaarly as clean as the Atom and more powerful, by the numbers.
Plus is has a cooler case. Nothing wrong with a little industrial design!!
Yeah I wasnāt trying to imply people should or shouldnāt get it. I ordered it because I like having my amp and DAC separate and want to start experimenting with balanced.

Yeah, just received the email today. 
I received mine about a week ago and have been thoroughly enjoying it. I am pleased that it fits into my signal chain so well and hasnāt seemed to need burn in. So far Iāve run it exclusively with my Modhouse Argon IIs which Ryan converted to a balanced setup and a Periapt cable. I finally have an amp that can push these beautiful cans in the way they were made to be pushed; I canāt go over 12:00 on high gain! Having a THX AAA 789 is kind of like having a 600 HP sports car. You will never āneedā all that power but itās nice to have all that power in reserve. End game, indeed.

Yeah, and just think, (assuming you are waiting along with me from the may purchase) they delayed it a month, only a month after we placed the order.
Iām sure it will be delayed again. Buying things from massdrop is a tantric experience at best.
Yeah was the May purchase. Was an impulse buy really.
Fair play to Massdrop though, received the money back already.

How is the space real estate wise on a desk? Iām kinda tempted to cancel my order and pick this up if the DAC is good. I originally was going to connect the 789 from my Emotiva DC-1. However, Iām not sure now. Especially if the DAC is good in the 788.
