So there is now 2 different versions out there and you are not sure what you be getting.

I think there is only one version for sale now but doesnât hurt to make sure.
Seems some people other than myself got the OG tuning with the first Video I put out a month ago.
Somewhere down the line the took my suggestions made them reality and the retuned version got launched with a new very recessed socket and new cable type?

Agreed, the problem with this approach is that trust in their store has now corroded. Unless you have a coupler you really donât know what tuning you got

I went and asked them and wanted to confirm that what they are selling is indeed the revised new version.
But i agree stuff like this shakes your trust.

Yeah, If they dont wanna change their name (cuz the name carries the hype), then at least put an âMK2â or something behind it and discontinue the first oneâŚ

Can you share details of the mod, please?
Do you have a 711 coupler to measure? If not, the mod is not really possible to do blindly. You will have to take a tiny needle, like insulin needle and poke one to three wholes in the damper of the upper mids BA driver.
I poke one whole, measure and so on.

Soo about that QC & Warranty topic 
Private pictures & first polite and friendly attempt of contact:
Left IEM being wasty different in size, due to last minute swap to an earlier batch.
Very likely failing measuring QC and just closing the eyes.
Impossible fit due to different shape and very big difference in height and wideness.
11 emails later ~ one is send to MyerAudio after repeating myself 6 times
and being gaslighted of what i said.
Result ~ âplease make a video of the issue, because it plays ~ so no defect, no return or swap optionâ
Next attempt, labor inspection with calibrated tools
~ with requested video & 7th reâexplanation:
Outer shell:
Unhappy but fine, hand work ~ not too bad. One did pour too much protective coating.
Very unfortunate issue that can happen for 20$ not 200$ IEM ~ but ok.
Audio chamber - Shell thickness:
Now we start to see an issue, that one can see clearly with eyes
~ but only got inspected closer, because they caused sores and pain in my ears
1 full mm size difference (13% margins of error)⌠, aka completely different batch if visual difference wasnât already unsatisfying
~ but 1000 microns doesnât sound bad for some, even if basic school-ruler can measure that big gap.
If 2nd point was not bad and a big issue to sound or usability ~ letâs continue;
Shell curvature:
Clearly noticeable different Resin-Print & impossible to wear due to that.
And the basic visual inspection:
I mean, is it really a topic of debate
Sadly the negatives:
- Denial of any support within first buying week ~ due to âit still playingâ
As previous IEM user of products from
(Shure, TFZ, KZ, Moondrop, Truthear, Fiio, HBB & Tripowin & Tangzu)
I have never seen or experience such issue & neither the âit plays, no helpâ experience till now
What are my options to sand them down,
~ because iâm a big fan of the tuning & hand-faceplate design.
Just in the current state, they are unusable.

people praising them & it being basically my first >100$ IEM, after saving many months.
Yet treated like
