šŸ”· Modhouse ARGON MkIII

Hi!
I ordered my Argon MKIII 13 weeks ago when the lead time was 9 weeks.
I tried several times to contact modhouse audio through their email available on their website, with no response.
Anyone in the same situation? Does anyone have a different email to which they respond?

Thank you.

I just ordered a pair 5 minutes ago cant wait! everyone says the wait was worth it so i just finally pulled the trigger but try emailing ryan on his twitter i dont want to post his email as i know they are super swamped…

Hm. My pair was delivered around the 13 week mark. Communication isn’t really their strong suit, but the email I got through with was their Gmail email

You just gotta keep emailing them. Sometimes you gotta harass them till they notice you

Anyone have a chance to compare argon t50s to the argon t60s? I know there’s a little snippet on the site about less bass more treble wondering if anyone has been able to do a side by side comparison.

Not sure. There’s very little on this info. I wish Zeos would get some T60 Argon and do a side by side comparison.

yeah i figured with the long lead times there probably aren’t to many t60 argons out in the wild.

True, but it’s now been quite a while since the T60 Argons have been available for order, I was hoping someone in the Zeos Telegram chat was going to nag him about it

@ZeosPantera please review the T60 Argons, it’s time, don’t you think?

Can the owners of the Argon MK3 please kindly test their Argon MK3 and their other favorite headphone for immersive single player gaming on this short youtube clip? I need to know which headphone has more RUMBLE when I shoot the cannon and more WEIGHT to the air when I do melee strike (whoosh whoosh effect). I have to make a decision today for purchasing.

Do you have proper gear to drive the headphones to make your whoosh whoosh and rumble rumble?

Yes no worries i got sp200 thx amp and smsl Su-8 dac.
I already experienced the whoosh whoosh and rumble rumble using my steelseries arctis 7 headset but it lacks in all other departments so i am looking for an upgrade for single player gaming. Argon Mk3 or Nighthawk or…? Based on users reaction to my video i will decide. Thank you.

It seems that you want something more for enjoyment than competitive, so either would be fine imo. I have the Nighthawk Carbon and they are very immersive and fun, almost 3D like in sound. I can definitely recommend them, and there would be no need to upgrade your equipment, since they are only 24 ohms, super easy to drive even on a phone, but also scale well with better gear.

Yes yes u already recommended nighthawk for me yesterday that’s why I’m considering it now vs argon mk3. Really hope someone can listen to the YouTube clip using their argons and nighthawk or their favorite gaming headphone.

Sadly I don’t have both lol. Sorry.
What I do know is that with the Argon, you’ll have to wait a good long while, 10-12 weeks sometimes. Unless you can find one used on eBay.
Nighthawk Carbon you could order right now from Amazon.com and see if it is what you are looking for.

Unfortunately my T50’s aren’t modded and I don’t own Nighthawks, but either should be good to go for your needs. However, I will say the videos sounded great on my Fiio FH7’s, no doubt they would also sound great on a pair of IKKO OH10’s (baby FH7), if you want to try the IEM route.

I have both but not with me at work. Going off (unreliable) audio memory, I’d say Argon has more rumble.
Nighthawk has the cool soundstage thing going for it. Maybe I can try when I get home.
