Just got a balanced pair (got the balanced option just in case), would an Audio GD NFB-11 be enough to drive these? Or would you recommend something else ($400 and down would be my budget)?
That should have plenty of power on tap, do you have it already or are you in the market for a dac/amp?
Currently have it, just wonder if they pair well, thereâs plenty of volume, just wonder if theyâre being driven decently

I mean mostly anything with bass is typically fun on the argons, and it actually handles poorly recorded music decently well. I personally donât watch movies/tv so I canât say anything there lol
Yeah I guess something neutral, since Argons are tuned towards fun sounding. With the exception of the HD 600, just cause the comfort and narrowness just donât vibe with me.
Mmm thatâs fair, I guess my intention with that question was if anyone had some song or album that they really enjoyed personally while auditioning the Argons, but there is a place to post those sort of questions I suppose lol

I am a bit nervous about his most recent news update indicating supply issues during COVID-19. He doesnât specify if the supply issues impact existing or only new orders 
I went with the Sundaras as a more neutral compliment. Both are around the same price depending on what mods on the argon weâre talking, and give a completely different experience. The imaging is much, much better and has a much more narrow sound stage. Both require about the same amount of power too.

I am nearing the shipping date of my Argons, so itâs time to gear up! Can anyone say how much power they REALLY need? Z seemed to be satisfied with them on the Rebel, which is 1W at 32 Ohm, the Arcam rhead is 1.1W so should it be enough to drive them? That amp looks very appealing to me.

Literally nothing. Iâve sold all my stuff (Audio-gd amp and MrSpeakers Aeons) when I ordered the Argon. I am doing audio detox since then, I survive with a VE Monk+
