Yes, these are amazing for movies. I really feel the typical Audiophile headphones are really not meant for movies, since you want that exaggerated sound for something like Trek 09 or any Bay movie. I love my Argons.

Extremely fun, comfortable, bassy as hell so explosions were exhilarating and immersive, definitely no complaints on argons for single player if anything I would dial the bass back a couple notches but again, thatâs my personal preference as too much on the bass gives me a headache personally
Note: the pads definitely change the sound even on the argons rather drastically
FYI - Ordered May 18th, just got the shipment email today (12/3). Just under 7 months. Understandable considering COVID/supply issues.
My Eikons took 12 weeks ordered back in July. Got a sweet pair of the red stained manchurian ash VC coming now, probably wonât get them until February.

What is ZMF classic? I have an Ori (previously called Omni) and itâs not like Modhouse at all really - going off memory. Modhouse MK iii the bass is all consuming to the extent the treble and mid while present and nice are somewhat suffocated.
Oriâs are warm but the treble + mids are WAY more balanced.
Does anybody know how the Modhouse ARGON MkIII sounds with the Cowhide pads and I do wonder if the zmf classic with the zmf cowhide earpads would have the same or similar sound signature and bass response and impact as mod house argon mk3. especially with cowhide earpads on the mod house argon mk3 does. And Iâm asking because Iâm not a fan of the single entry connection if so then I would get those instead of the the audeze lcd 2 classic I hope someone can answer my questions?

so i ordered the argon mk3 conversion about a week ago. i know the lead time is 4-6 weeks. but i havent received any communication from them about shipping my fostexs to them. do yall reckon this is normal procedure?
Modhouse is literally one guy. From everyone I have heard that has ordered from them (several dozen) the lead time is generally understated rather then accurate. Between a death in the family and COVID itâs put Modhouse behind rather significantly. They are slow to respond, if at all. Be prepared to wait. I plan on sending t50s and t60s to them at some point but I am going to wait and see if they catch up.
when I ordered my pair in 2019 lead time was 12 weaks. its way longer now from what I have heard
I recently placed an order with them and had the same question. I didnât hear from them for over a week and then they sent me an email with information about where to send the headphones. Be patient you will hear from them.
As a side note I asked them a few other questions and got no response so Iâd expect little to no communication from them (as far as my limited experience goes) outside what is required to do the job.
I wouldnât even mind waiting up to 30 weeks and even paying 200$ more than he asks for but thereâs not even a wish list available 
Starting to seriously consider the conversion. Will have to do an international shipping from Europe

The current two amps Iâm using with my Argons are the JDS Atom and the ifi Zen Can. I donât feel either are powering them to there potential. Any advice on a desktop amp with more oomph in the âŹ200 or less range?
I am excited to get these. But patience is the key word⌠
