Just received my MK3s back from the conversion on the 8th. Ordered on January 3rd. I would say that Ryan does a great job and I’m satisfied with the overall experience.

Got the balanced Mk3 with Protein Pads today. I’ve been listening for a few hours. Not hearing the amazing soundstage so many people keep raving about. I’d appreciate some song suggestions that best showcase the unique attributes of this headphone.
Here is my first EQ attempt. Chain is Topping E30 & A90, high gain. (For seamless A/B testing turn your music app down by at least 3db and set the pre-amp to +1db.)

The Droid Invasion and the Appearance of Darth Maul from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, There Will Be Blood by Kim Petras, and Fever Dream by Brian Tyler. I found the staging to be a noticeable improvment over both my 6XX and DT 880 600 ohm!
Mine is being driven through the THX 789 hooked up to a Soncoz LA-QXD1.

What Amplifier and Dac combo would you recommend I purchase to use exclusively with Argon MK3s and T60argons
I’m currently using an ifi Zen Can which seems to power them a bit better than my JDS Atom. I am honestly wondering if it be worth paying the import duty for a Schiit Asgard 3 though.

Am seriously considering the Xduoo xa10 amp/DAC as it has 4w balanced output plus full MQA decoder abilities for my Tidal needs
I can recomend HAC as well–originally I had purchased one from Periapt, although sold it after becoming annoyed by the weight.

Is the Emotiva BasX PT-100 a good choice for Argons?
I know its for stereos but seems like a great deal for 350 euro
Or maybe Aune X1s Pro for around €290?
Even with all the hassle that it takes to get one into the EU, I think that the Schiit Asgard 3 is probably the best deal you can get for planars below the Jot2/v200.
My mk2 argons really needed the A3 to come alive a bit, the RNHP didn’t do it much justice, although I personally find the argons a bit boring for me.
