Hello! I haven’t been in here for a long time. After all the topics you discuss, I want to ask if IEMs appeared that can play this (besides FH7):

I hope I didn’t disturb you :grinning: . 10x boys!!

that was great :fire:

Yes. There are many new IEMs. I wonder who will play this brutal thing :grinning:

Most late releases have been on the budget side/planars.

I’d advise a planar or something with great speed like the Zen Pro. I’m not the best person to ask because even tho I enjoy the instrumental part of it, the screams make me wanna close the video lol.

i also listen to metal , not a lot from this style specifically and got high recommendations about the mangrid tea 2 , so it might fit you as well

Ok. I will try them. I hope the dynamic driver doesn’t explode

For anyone wondering - there is a version in Qian39 shell with a bit smaller driver (with 32Ohm impedance). I am just about to order them because of all you shills!! :kissing:

Is it the same shell as Qian39 or the one Riku uses for his Gen 2 buds?

The 32ohm is not as good, but should be awsome nonetheless. Congratz :cookie:

Did you hear 32Ohm version as well?

It looks like OG Qian39

Seriously, whoever is interested in buds, get Serratus while it has criminally low price at 200usd. It should cost way way more for the sound it puts out

No, was told to me directly by @tgx , and he had nl reason to lie. It’s a different driver (and shell, it seems). But bet it sounds amazing.

From what he told me up til this point I compromise the stage definitely, but I don’t know what else. Soundstage is not that important for me honestly and possibility to wear for long time + driveability are definitely outweighing stage alone. I asked him a question whether apart from that it is worthy being named Serratus (with all the hype around) and I am waiting for the answer. I am sure it sounds great anyhow, but I have fear of missing out on the real Serratus sound iykwim

What’s your amp?

I am sure even my phone or my daughter’s Albi pen (Tolki - Albi.eu) would handle 300Ohm serratus mW wise, so that is not a problem. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

But on serious note - DX3Pro+ at the office for sure would be more than enough, but I want my buds to be usable at home where I would prefer to use NW-A55L or worst case scenario Q5k single ended. So I dont want to leave any question mark if I drive them enough. And MX500 is no go for me no matter what

I would say that with Q5, go for the 300ohm still, but shell is a completly different take. I might need to buy that one as well :stuck_out_tongue:

Do you know how the serratus is off of the Q5K? I’m looking to have a nice pair of buds but I’m not ready to invest in a desktop amp
