DUNU Falcon Ultra Review

My brain is fried. I hope it is clear enough. Enjoy and thanks for reading.

Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about, this was a great article. Classic, Nymz style where I feel like I’m reading something with personality, ironically, not written by a robot. Great job man :handshake: the FU looks very interesting, both literally and figuratively. Lovely shells this one has.

I’m also very flattered to have my edits displayed, thank you again for the opportunity brother :handshake:

Is that A Nano? How do you like it?

Yes, the Ananda Nano.
I don’t want to make public evaluations yet until they have two more days of use (burn in).
If you want I can give you first impressions in private.

Well my finger slipped on ebay and picked this little beauty up for £200! Paired with hidizs ap80 pro X and epz 530 listening to a 100 song playlist of mixed format files it’s sounds equally as good as the M6 ultra maybe a little more space and wider soundstage (new toy syndrome warning) YMMV

Let’s go there.

-Dynamics: Practically the same. A tad better in the Focal Clear although I tolerate it for less time because it is somewhat aggressive for me.

-Timbre: Ananda Nano is a slightly brighter Focal Clear. Similar but I think the Clear would have a more correct timbre.

-Resolution: Same. However, in the Ananda Nano it maintains that clarity of the Focal but its bass, medium and treble feel a little more textured.

-Soundstage: Ananda nano feels bigger. It is perhaps the most obvious difference.

-Necessary energy: mysteriously both need very similar values. I say this because the ananda nano has much less sensitivity. Edit: A touch more on Ananda Nano but similar.

-Comfort: I find the Ananda Nano more comfortable.

-Extra: A touch of more “inmersion” on Focal Clear. Also Clear wins in note size.

SS of email from KZ would be nice to confirm claim.

Why the hiby over using the SD card function?
Just curious as I have the H5 in cart for a while now.

Because it was quick and easy for a first impression I’ve since added a card and set up the eddict app and I’m very happy with the function and sound of the H5 especially with folder browsing.

I bought the H5 primarily to use with my Microsoft proX tablet that I have J-audio music software controlling my music library that I ripped from my huge CD collection.

The SD function is a nice bonus for me.

Budget single DD round up: SIMGOT EW100P, Tripowin Piccolo and Blon x HBB Z300

Hello gals,

So, my dad is finally out of the hospital (after a month) and I’m trying to pick up the pace back. Decided to start on more simple stuff before I post my upcoming reviews that are already in the works.

Hope everyone is doing well.

PS: Anything fancy that has been out of my radar for the past month and I should take a look at?

CVJ Konoka, has an LRA driver. (“real” bone conductor, aka a bass shaker.)

Cant say no after seeing that. (fyi, stock tuning looks like banshee aids.)

Words of wisdom. On it.

Hoping some quick mods can fix it

Will pray for that.

Although their main company is also doing it.

So who knows which will be better…

Glad to hear that your pops is on the mend, and at the very least can come home; Being stuck in a hospital forever and a day, especially later in life, is no fun.
