Whether you will buy 07m or 07 OG in my opinion depends only on your library! Only !!
On another note I might just stick with the universal and save that money to buy more IEMs
That. You can reshell it later for the same price, just have to send it over like I did. You just gotta talk to @shuoer
My library consists of rock, bands, acoustic, ballads, and alternative. I think OG will be great
Yes, as always tuning, stage and dynamics are the 3 major differences, but it’s all preferences.
Im also not factoring price…
Thanks for all the input guys
You have a calmer library ( by the way I listen to many other genres besides ultradynamic metal ), maybe OG will be better for you! But whoever you take, you will not go wrong. For my ears, Sonion 23 works wonders in the middle, I prefer them to a single DD for my library. Lava in my opinion will sacrifice a little resolution and mids, but the bass will be touching, given the good dynamics of the dynamic driver of EJ.
Both are insane. I miss my ej07m. Now to get my finances back up and to order Tea2
What is the drivers configuration “deference” between tea mk1 and mk2 ? And what are u expecting in terms of resolution ?
Same driver count but seems there are little tweeks: some of the BAs changed, DD change (I think?) and also some crossover adjustment (BAs in lower mids go lower so DD is used more for sub-bass like in monarch, I’d guess).
Sonion 26 help DD for bass. DD is almost only for subbass, as Mon mk2. The resolution may be a little better. The midbass still won’t be much, in my opinion.
Cool enjoy
Always wondered how this stacks up against the iDSD Micro Signature
that is indeed the crux of the matter
Wtf! How fast was that?! Another influencer privelage?
So how so fast?
Thanks for the great answer.
Yes exactly, I’m looking for sparkles. I don’t know if I’m a treble head but upper treble needs to be there.
Good to hear that EJ07M is not dark to you.
I’ll be waiting for Kinda Lava and Tea2 reviews.
Dunu SA6 and Moondrop Variations are great for Treble
I’d personally pick the SA6 because it has richer mids and vocals where Variations is too recessed for me. Variations will be more resolving with better sub-bass though. Staging and imaging is similar on both. Depends on what you value. Treble just as good on both; sparkly and detailed with no harshness.
