Artists/record labels who PUT THE TRACK NAMES AND ALBUM TITLES IN ALL CAPS IN THEIR DOWNLOAD FILES AND THEY SHOW UP SCREAMING AT YOU IN YOUR MUSIC APPS! IT’S LIKE THE TEXT-BASED VERSION OF BRICKWALLING! WHY IS THIS NECESSARY!?!?!?
Nope used other cables that I have but to no avail, it does not emit any sounds anymore. I checked the wiring inside of the right piece and all of the wiring are connected, no damages seen from it.
F for your right channel
This is why I run all my music files through MusicBrainz for tagging. They have capitalization standards that apply to all track titles, regardless of how they appear on an album cover or digital file.
Another house bid on, another call that we didnt get it. People are now underbidding us with cash offers and for some reason sellers swoon over cash offers despite them getting the same payment in the end. Great credit, over 20% down, putting in way over asking, and nothing. All young kids in their 20s at these open houses, where the hell are they all getting ~$600k in cash.
Their parents. Fucking rich people.
Quick update: after 2 weeks without them, today I finally could listem to Over-ear headphones again! Holy crap it felt like an eternity! Thanks @WaveTheory, @A_COC0NUT and @Not_Daijoubu for the wishes.
The jaw pain ended up being another problem, related to my already out wisdom tooth. Medication and treatment worked faster and now there is no pain, although I may need to do some root treatment later on. Still, really glad to be better and back to my cans.
Happy to hear it! Enjoy the music again!
I’m getting real tired of people who write dumb stuff in reviews and mark things as negative points about a product that are either not a negative point or not a trait of the actual product. A good example I think is people writing reviews about a pair of open-back headphones and then list something like “Not good for on the road” as a negative point and actually rate the product lower because of it. I understand you make a note of it somewhere in your review, but of course it’s not f#cking good for on the road, it’s an open-back headphone. You wouldn’t list “can only be used at home” as a point of critique in a review about a 66 inch television, now would ya?
A different example is “Great monitor, but it had a dead pixel so I can only give this one star”. If a product has QC problems I get it, but if everyone is having good experience and you happen to get a unit that underperfoms just send it back and get a new one, it doesn’t necessarily mean the product is bad.
Also hate people who leave 1-star or 5-star reviews under a product because the service of the shop was very bad or very good. That has nothing to do with the product.
well…
it depends, for example on linsoul the review should be about the product, but aliexpress is a whole different story…
Well not really, I mean there is a separate review system for the stores people should post reviews about the store on the store and reviews about products with the product. Though I admit that AliExpress their website is a bit off IMO, so it’s sometimes hard to see how well the store is reviewed.
Don’t know if this is what @Joeses01 meant, but when evaluating a product on Aliexpress usually there are two separate “ratings”. One for the product, one for the seller. I believe they separate between the store rating and the item rating, but I’m not quite sure.
When everything has to fucking go wrong, and the day ends with loosing control of my truck and getting into a fucking accident on my way home from work after 11pm…
Shoot, are you ok?
Little pissed off, little broke (have to replace the front bumper, valance and grill), but I’m alright. Truck still runs, pulling the bumper assembly off was 4 nuts, cause I couldn’t leave it on without tearing up the brand fuckin new tire on the front left.
Just a simple gripe on today’s mobile phones, and this is how I will get a phone. I will never ever buy a phone with no headphone jack for to me it is stupid and an illogical reason for them to do so. I do know why they did it though, for it is a business move to sell their wireless audio and to be honest, I am one of those people who are just not into it. I understand it is for convenience and of course you are not worried anymore tangling or breaking wires, but when it comes to the sounds you will get from wireless, to me, they are just not that good (with a few exceptions like the THX Pandas.) and you have to double your spending of money just to get the sound quality as good as the wired ones, and the wired ones have a lot of cheaper options where anyone can pretty much get it.
I could be wrong with wireless audio, but Jesus, just let the headphone jack stay if not, well it’s time to get a DAP instead and stick to my old ass S7 Edge, for I cannot just see myself buying a phone with no headphone jack regardless if I have a Fiio BTR5 or not, I am not getting one.
I’d like to see headphones that can just run straight USB from your phone (using a DAC and amps built into the headphone). Bonus points if the power supplied from the USB port is sufficient to power everything and no batteries are required.
honestly, I think I’m gonna just buy a Shanling M0 and carry it with me as a “watch.” Along with my New Audio Technica clips, it’ll be a very nice portable solution for me. Now only if I hate the motivation to rip all my CDs…
I really do hate how everyone is removing the jack now. Do they expect me to watch YouTube through shitty built in speakers? Jerks. lol
Kind of interesting, but I think it’s basically still the same when getting a dongle for a 3.5mm jack, in order to use your wired headphones. Though, it would still suck if you cannot listen to music while charging your phone at the same time, unless you have a phone that supports wireless charging though I prefer wired charging over wireless, since it’s much faster for me.
I want more phones that are like LG, from what I have heard they have good shit DACs on their phones and it’s much better when their phones have a headphone jack. But yeah, I might as well get a DAP if all phones suddenly just dropped the headphone jack like a major scale. I learned to tolerate the removal of the removal battery for it does help contributing to water resistance, but the headphone jack? Hell no! your phone to me is crap if it doesn’t have one, regardless if it’s a flagship, mid-range or entry level.
