“Step 2, search for Long_Stupid_Name_With_Trademark™_Symbol™_Everywhere™.zip” → DOES NOT FIND ANYTHING!!!

“Step 3, log in to your…” → THERE IS NO LOG IN WINDOW!!!

Fuck this license bollocks!

This is hilarious from the Beyerdynamic website:

Um, hate to tell you this BD, but everything consistently follows the laws of physics except maybe black holes and wormholes or something, I donno, I’m not a physicist but even I follow the laws of physics most days.

Well it is better then disregarding the laws of physics or claiming your accessory magically enhances sound. Honestly I have no issues if they want to brag about that… or that the sky remains up when wearing their headphones…

Probably one of those marketing jargons again, but yeah that is indeed ridiculous. I mean yeah, no shit, all of the things made by us humans follows the laws of physics, aka Water is wet, Winter is cold, Taxes = death and so on.

Those are pretty horrible examples but lol
Since this is the rant. Those are pretty horrible examples.

Law of Universal Gravitation, Conservation of Mass and Energy, Laws of Thermodynamics and so on.

Yeah I know, I went on an emotional tangent rather than a logical one. Though I know and I can admit that I am not exactly the most smart person out there, for I can be dumb sometimes therefore I am human. But yeah BD’s statement on that is just ridiculous.

Well… I’m convicted the people that work for Progressive are either:
A) Stupid
B) Uncoordinated
C) Incapable of communication
D) some combination of the above

Progressive is not my insurance company, to be clear. They are, however, the company of the guy who rear ended me all the way back on the 4th. It’s now the 26th. Just over 3 weeks later. Even with getting my insurance company involved, they’ve refused to communicate with me been Monday the 9th, and late Friday the 20th to say they couldn’t pay for the repairs. They also tried making the claim that they think it’s totaled because maybe the frame has shifted (I would have felt a difference in how it drives). Good news, while they picked it up to inspect it and see the value, they gave me a rental (2021 Hyundai Kona, fun to drive, still prefer my truck). However, I’m only supposed to have it tomorrow, and they only just informed me that they could get it to me tomorrow (while I was in the middle of typing. Before they where saying they didn’t know when they could get it to me).
Can’t say this isn’t incredibly frustrating.

On another note, I got to say goodbye to a keyboard that has served me well for years. RIP Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 edition. You will be missed.

Had some friends in the auto body repair business. They loathed Progressive more than any other insurance company.

Ohhh, they earned a whole new level of me being pissed off. They made me return the rental this morning, then tried claiming it was MY fault that I wouldn’t get my truck back till Monday.
They used my bed as their trash can

They removed both license plates, and I got pulled over by 5 sheriffs and given a warning for it.

They stole the screws for the rear license plate, so I’m having to zip tie it on place temporarily

The motor for my driver side window doesn’t work anymore… I’m beyond fucking furious.

Geez what chop shop is progressive employing these days? I’d have dropped the trash in the office of where you picked it up!

Except they wouldn’t deliver it to anywhere but my house. The only alternative was dropping it off at my work. They refused to even consider meeting me at Enterprise, insisting it was private property, and they probably wouldn’t like it. Here’s the thing: my workplace is also private property and so in my house(and the fact that Enterprise is private property was their biggest argument). Either way, I may have invoked a bit of an old nickname(God’s Wrath) when I went off on the agent on a conference call with the tow truck company (particularly when their dispatcher was on the line and they kept trying to say it was clearly my fault for not communicating that I needed the vehicle by a certain time and not answering my phone when I was in the line with a customer, trying to help diagnose an internet problem). I did manage to avoid using foul language though.

Oh my god not again! the new coat of paint that I did on my Starfields started freaking chipping again even though I made sure that the likelihood of that happening won’t happen again, but apparently it did. I only managed to do the right earpiece for today, because I thought the left side is all good and no damages were shown on the paint after a duration use yesterday.

I was freaking wrong, now the left ear piece’s paint is chipping therefore I have to do it AGAIN meaning I have to make sure that the primer is there, the metallic blue is there and the clear is there especially the clear. If this shit does not work again, I might as well not paint it anymore and just apply an anti-rust coating on it to prevent it from rusting.

Right now I am just frustrated as hell!

Are they aluminium? Because painting on top of the oxide layer is the way to get the paint to chip off.

Their logic…

I mean why even try blame you?

I think it’s pretty clear. This is from the US side.
“The driver of the car that rear-ends a leading vehicle will almost always be considered at least partially negligent. Every driver has a duty to follow other vehicles at a safe distance. The reason for this is because car drivers sometimes suddenly, and unexpectedly, slow down or come to a stop – to avoid a hazard in the road, for example, or simply because of traffic congestion. You are expected to have enough distance between you and the car in front of you to prevent a collision if such an unanticipated stop becomes necessary.”

We also have law for that. It’s like 99.7% the rear drivers fault.
What ever the situation. You need to adjust the speed to be able to stop or avoid collusion.
It can be kid with a ball and you might need stop suddenly or if the car just stalls to traffic light. What ever the situation. Anyone rear ending the car. It’s their fault. Like the situation you had.

I would have just said the mentioned law above. Anything more that, pointless to talk. Bring my ride when it’s repaired. Close phone.
It’s just pointless to talk to stupid people.

That’s not the part they’re trying to blame me for. They where trying to claim I wasn’t communicating with them, and that was why I wouldn’t get my truck back until Monday.
I just got off the phone with their manager, who is insisting that the license plates would have been removed because they would have had to do a teardown for the inspection. Doesn’t explain why they bent the front one in half, or why the rear screws are missing.
They are insisting that since their process doesn’t involve the window’s motor, they won’t do anything about it, but they will reimburse me for the license plate. After I have a receipt to send them.

It’s fine, I already repainted it today but this time I redid the process with a rough sander on the earpiece and then use a superfine, in order to smoothen the surface. Also, I made sure that the primer, main paint and clear coating are evenly applied as well since I noticed that the first paint job I did on it wasn’t up to par on what I did today, therefore making less likely for it to chip off again…I hope.

Youch. This is why I shut things down when not in use. Honestly, if I have a $10,000.00 DAC sitting on my desk I don’t think I’m worrying about the energy bill! But I don’t. So I do.
