Want a fucking giant-killer IEM? Buy a giant that fits your library, not a fucking 50usd set that is meant to be a budget option.

Amen, I mean you really must have realistic expectations when you’re buying a budget IEM. I mean it’s not like it’s instant galaxy brain shit when you bought a budget option, the likely for you to have that is on you entirely not the IEMs you’re using. I mean I remember using my Koss KSC75s for a long time after replacing its pads, and it’s not even an expensive one and definitely does not compete with the high end models xD.
Sorry to hear that. I had Covid in December. It was about 5 days of mild discomfort. The good news is that the immunity you have after recovering appears to be even more protective against variants than some of the vaccines. Stay positive and look forward to being less susceptible in the future!
That’s why I stopped doing reviews a long time ago. Too many people wanting to know too much in particular. Too much upkeep and maintenance. Helpful, yes. But it takes a certain type of person to carry on that stuff.
Yeah sometimes it’s good to hear the product for yourself than hear what they say is true for them. Because there are some people don’t like the Starfields’ sound and told me not to buy them, but I bought them and I ended up liking them, and still my daily IEMs for use.
I sit here in a tire shop this morning because our pathetic POS of a governor refuses to fix the roads. Just one of so many horrific failures this human waste Gavin Newsome has committed. Hopefully we get to correct that situation on 9/14 when we vote his ass out of office.
Ahhhhhhhhh!!! I want a direct upgrade from the dt880!!! I need that air! The sub bass! The sparkling highs! The soundstage! Maybe a smidge more body to the mids or maybe not. Improved technicalities!
Its been a decade and still nothing has swayed me from the dt880s in taking the crown personally.
I got fucking scared and I want to rant after the previous days I had. I got scared because I thought I was going to lose my hearing since I’ve discovered that I had Otitis media and fuck me it was a bother and a scare. I was able to treat it today by taking prescription meds and it’s feeling better than before. I was ready to panic, when I was saw a lot of fluid in my left ear drip out and that was definitely a wake up call for me to get it treated quickly.
Always remember to sanitize your eartips people, for ALL of us are damn sure don’t want to lose any form of hearing since we love high-fidelity.
If you still have your gl2k, mod them bitches. Post mod (both tuning paper and felt tape) they remind me a lot of 880s but quite a bit higher detail and resolving capabilites and a wider and taller soundstage.
@Pokrog The gl2k never had enough of that airy quality to me. Am interested in playing around with it though. Thinking of trying the felt tape and maybe throwing beyer filters in there.
Stock, they have some qualities that remind me of sennheisers so maybe ill try some modding.
you get a ton of air from removing the tuning paper from the driver and a little more by removing one or both of the grill mesh. the felt tape significantly improves the bass they’re lacking in.
