RikudouGoku's Database (IEMs/Earbuds/Headphones Ranking list)

Are these still available? How do they compare to the Lancer 1?
Thanks, Lloyd

They got sold out.

They are pretty different from the Lancer 1.
Bass is more mid-bass focused than sub-bass, warmer tonality overall which makes male vocals better, female vocals are not as forward but safer, treble is a bit less airy and bright. Stage is much deeper while width is comparable. Its more versatile and I do personally prefer the tonality of the Grand Rider 1 more than the Lancer 1.

Will also mention that there is one unit of the Archer 1 available.

@GGSuperMe to add to this with how @Rikudou_Goku described the Rider against the Grand Rider to me:

Shares a lot of similarities with the Grand version the differences I say are, less upper-treble sparkle, slightly warmer female vocals, slightly more sub-bass. Stage is pretty close but just a tad smaller due it not being as airy (slightly).

Sold out.

Archer is brighter, more treble and upper-mids, less bass

Something is erupting today.

There is an embargo for sound impressions/review until their official announcement though.

Well that’s unfortunate. They look promising! Any idea on the MSRP?

Dont know tbh. (or I forgot about it since they might have told me a few months ago lol.)

Announcement isnt too far away though.

Hopefully it’s an adorable set, we shall see. Tuning and looks are very promising.

Edit: Obviously I meant Affordable but I’m leaving adorable because it made me laugh lol

Which do you prefer? What music genres work well with each? Are they still available?

Rider

They both dont have much bass, so I wouldnt use them for stuff like edm, hip-hop, rock/metal. They are neutral, with the Rider being warmer and the Archer brighter. So OST, acoustic/vocals and classical works well for them.

Archer got sniped already.
1 Rider available atm.
