I run into a Universal Apollo, into an IMac and monitor with JBL professional monitors. I’ a huge fan of https://neuraldsp.com/ for the amp processing.
Yeah, the catalogue of plugins looks very interesting, but you know 100 bucks for a single plugin is not particularly cheap…
I think I will end up with some digital multi fx pedal with amp/cab sims and headphone output.
This way I can even use in front of my amp.
They have completely replaced my Axe FX, so there’s that. You get what you pay for. I own every plug-in they make. I also have a full size Mesa MKV amp that I rarely use because the Neural stuff is so good.
I definitely like the idea and the Gojira / Plini plugins… very interested in that
Have you looked at the Openheart earbuds?
I have seen them, but was never interested. I think, based on my experience, Its better to get the sub 10 usd buds, then jump straight into high/totl range.
Thanks. Just curious as I remember reading good things about their resins and thought that was interesting, but not in the mood to buy another set of resins.
ok, wow. Anyone still got the Tanchjim Hana and think it is shouty?
Well, just take some earbud foam divide it into 2 separate 1/16 size. Put it into the stem of the tips and boom.
Tuning wise, I prefer this over the Oxygen, although the Oxygen still beats it in quality. But this is an epic change.
If you want to reduce the treble even more (too much reduction IMO) you can instead use 1/8 foam size.
Isn’t better and more practical just stacking filters up or changing to Oxygen’s filter?
When I tried stacking filters, I didnt like it. Dont remember if it was because it didnt reduce it enough or something else…
Could you please show the pictures

The bigger part is the 1/8 size which is what you then try to form it into something like this:
Then put it in the tips by inserting it from the bottom, so it should be around the red arrow.
Then after putting the tips on the iem nozzle, it should be in the blue area.
Would this also work for the Blon? I forgat what you needed for that mod but I’m pretty sure it’s not something I have lying around the house.
The mesh mod is a mod where you replace the stock filters which have a lot of damping for another filter.
The mesh mod will increase the treble. While this newer foam mod will decrease it. So they do the opposite.

Do you use the regular SednaEarfit or the softs by the way? Considering ordering a pair of mediums, since ML is just a bit big for me.
I dont use the Azla tips at all after I got the radius deep mount.

Thanks!
I love you
I meant I love the mod
Great job with the mod man! The Hanna is a clean looking set too so that helps their value prop by quite alot I need to see about doing stuff like that again lol
Yeah, I have already tried a few other iems with that mod and have found out that only 2 of them got positive changes. (BIG changes)
I will analyze them further and probably compare the mod vs eq among other things.
