Just the tips though, the Variations fits me perfectly just like the Blessing 2. It’s a much better fit than the Monarch or Clairvoyance.

Just tried the Deep Mount tips and there is absolutely zero seal with these tips in my ears. Not recommended.

I’m loving the variations too. So much that I’m gonna sell my oracle (if anyone is interested feel free to pm)

@Resolution The fitting of the CP100+ is roughly the same as the CP100 yeah? I’m currently using the cp100 on my FD5 and it fits well with no difficulty putting it on.

Any difference so far between the two from your end?

Interesting, for me its the opposite. I had to change sizes from my normal tips because… They mount deep. * badum tss *

Sorry for the late reply!

To be honest, I don’t make any direct comparisons with DAC’s & Amp’s.

I put my collection together with my headphones and their symbiosis.

For example, the HD800s & the Grado GS3000e work together very well with the Questyle CMA400i.

The Zen DAC / Amp combo with the 6xx series from Sennheiser.

The iDSD Signature with my Hifiman’s.

And the Rebel Amp, pushes my Beyer’s to peak performance.

So I usually use the symbiotic harmony of the individual components, as they come closest to my ideal sound :man_shrugging:

The tips appear to be identical in size, but I was forced to go up a size on the Oracle, so something is different. I think they might defore even more easily than CP-100.

I need more time with them but I’m beginning to feel that the OG CP-100 might be superior.

I believe it is the material their made from. I have many tips that appear to be made from the exact same materials. For instance, Spiral Dots are the exact same material. Something about it and my ears that just does not work.

Interesting. Looking forward to see how it fares with the FD5. Will probably arrive tomorrow or Friday.

Anxious for your impressions on them. Size wise they are on the large size for your liking, aren’t they?

The GD3A is actually pretty small, smaller than the Fiio FH3 and similar in size to the Audiosense DT200/DT100.

GD11 on the other hand is probably at my limit, seems to be similar sized to the T800. But has a better shape for my ears so it works better.

WooHoo! Finally arrived! Congratulations. I’m very interested in the green one. Please let us know if the shell size is larger in any way than the Blessing 2. IMO, the Blessing 2 is the maximum size any IEM ever should be. Larger than the Blessing 2? Nope!

The pictures of the first one (blue) almost make it appear it has been used or damaged?

No its in perfect condition. The dust and other artifacts are invisible to the naked eye, keep in mind. Those pictures are taken with a macro lens (12x).

Great photo quality on these shots. You can see tons of detail!

These are the areas that popped out at me at first glance. The plastic looks a lot like the Legacy 3 where it’s not at a super high quality level as other products.

PS, your macro blows mine away.
