hahaha, that could happen. But hey, it is still the best IEM for that type of tuning. But factoring in Buds (and headphones but they dont make a difference lol) and the Oxygen might not even be top 3 for that.
At least, Chaconne > LBBS >> Oxygen
And the LBBS is only 55 usd!

Yes, but I hoard my collection. Good thing, bad things, interesting things, things that get replaced by other things… I buy and I keep.
I am also ordering a LBBS and if I don’t like the fit it will just be another part of the collection.

I am on my single DD kick right now so the oxygen is something I feel I need to add to the collection. Mainly because two madmen kept recommending it. If I can get it used all the better, if not then I shall wait till I can find a blacked out version.
The zen/zen pro/Falcon pro is still being decided.

Get the LBBS and keep thinking about the Oxygen (or the Hana 2021) until the Falcon Pro releases (the one that is around the same price if its around the same as the Falcon-C).

I certainly hope it isnt like the LBBS vs the Bell-WE (bass), where the LBBS slaughtered the 4x more expensive bud of the same brand…
The Hana 2021 is kinda disqualified based on looks, that white and gold is just too much for me.
Same reason Moondrop’s illumination is DQ’d
Let me figure out if I can even stand the fit of buds again before you have me dropping a few hundred for your sick amusement.

Oof, guess we dont even have a proper A/B comparison with them yet so who knows if they (Oxygen/Hana-2021) really are equal or not.
So about the lbbs vs m2s pro golden driver:
I’m A/Bing atm. Using balanced on M2S tho with donut foms and single end full foam on LBBS. They use roughly the same volume output on my M3x.
Best way I can describe it is open vs closed back.

LBBS sounds like a closed back headphone. Bigger bass, like a warm balanced tuned one. In your face sound.

150ohm driver sounds like open back, balanced tuning. More detail, better layering and soundstage.
I prefer the M2S Pro with this driver, but I’d take lbbs over stock driver. In my opinion, M2S beats in technicalities, but its a matter of preference. Timbre might be better on LBBS (i think, not a pro). M2S wins in female vocals (which I mainly enjoy).
Can see @Rikudou_Goku enjoying LBBS more (bassssss). Both are growing on me and can pretty surely rec them over zen2.0 which is a bit better and different set, but costs 4x more.
Wait, the LBBS got more bass vs the 150ohm driver? That doesnt sound good to me…but I am wondering if its just because you are using it with donut foams instead of full foams, which usually will have a lot less bass.
LBBS to me sounded a lot more like an open-back compared to the stock M2S Pro at least.
Also just saw that my cables cleared customs and should arrive in 2 weeks…
Sometimes Ali shipping makes no sense to me.
The real question is will I get the LBBS in my hands or be able to order BG’s Mele first… if Ali shipping estimate is correct he has the better part of the month.

Just did the Kill Jill test, M2S won.
M2S has better sub bass, no chance here.
Mid bass is slight superior, but lbbs sounds bigger since it’s more “in your face”.
Texture and speed goes to m2s as well.
And yes, lbbs sounds closed in comparition.

Keep in mind stock sounds like a v-shape compared to golden driver.
