Only situation I use 2.5mm is with BTR5, but I usually use an adaptor so, 4.4mm ftw. My next Amp must have 4.4mm or 6.3mm

L&P W2?

Might be. That one and ifi idsd signature.

But im focused on transducers now, sources later

Damn, that is more than double the price of the W2 lol.

yeah, that is a better move.

Time will tell. Can see me easly ending up with a dongle and some buds on a beach, laughing at people still trying to find the perfect iem after spending 30k :joy:

Seems like price is justified, measurements are really good

I read a few users saying it is close to the DX160 while some think it is better.

So yeah, it does sound like a great dongle (…is that even classified as a dongle?).

please vote again, as the first one is bugged…

That’s a tough one for me: i’ve yet to experience 4.4, and use 2.5 seldomly for now as not every gear I have support balanced out.

I feel the 2.5 is too small for its own good. 3.5 is good enough from my experience: I never saw any failure with it.

So I hesitated between answer what I use the most right now and what I would probably prefer if I had no other constraint.

I say vote for the type you would prefer to be using. Instead of the type you are using right now.

And that’s what I ended up doing :slightly_smiling_face:

4.4 preferred, but 3.5 in actual use since I source hop so much that unless the transducer has a modular system 3.5 is the default.

Sure looks great.

Sound however…frankly, dissapointed me so much that I even thought it was defective…

I went and confirmed the graph with Akros and it seems this isnt defective and is intended.

Then I tried my 80ohm adapter and

Sounds leagues better than stock. Yeah, I will review it with that 80ohm adapter… and if you dont want to use any resistance adapter, just…stay away from it…

(also doesnt seem to be that different between 30 and 80ohm for some reason.)

Oh, no. I had high hopes for DT300.
That energy past 10 kHz looks interesting though.

Upper-treble did seem quite elevated when I heard it with the adapter.

The Bravado MK2 graphs better for me though.

That is just an all around beautiful presentation. Not sure if the graph interests me or not, but the looks are great.

Wow that one looks super nice, i would love to try it but man that price! This thing costs more than all my headphones + IEMs + stack combined, lol

The Bravado in the other hand is more accessible although still expensive.

But honestly i am refraining from buying any new stuff, between my new stack, my 2 headphones and my 2 IEMs i almost feel like endgame, which is a bittersweet feeling. It is awesome to have found such incredible gear which i enjoy every single day but i miss hunting for new gear and that feeling when a new box arrive!
