lol, thats a bad designed chi-fi 100 usd cable?
ok…
yeah, I believe so…
Not like it uses any exotic materials that will make cable lovers nut over it lol.
at least it has better low frequency ambience and mid frequency density
def worth the investment
Aw, that’s too bad.
Alright, I’ll look around. I don’t think I could find a mmcx to mmcx angled connector, or one that’ll make the cable more comfortable. How the cable lays around my ear is kinda important to comfort for me. With my current FH3 cable, I’ve reworked it enough to barely lay and that’s working. But the weight and stiffness of the cable makes the IEM shift.
Maybe a super-short mmcx connector and a light cable would work for me.
Thank you! <3
You could go for a 2pin cable -> 2pin-mmcx adapter like this:
That could work, but I worry about connectors getting in the way with my glasses. I use IEMs while working so I can wear glasses, and even with small cables there’s not much real estate over my ears for everything.
Maybe I’ll just order a Faaeal cable and see how that goes. Currently using the stock Fiio cable with heavy reworking and cloth sleeves over the earhooks.
I did find some Openheart.
But in terms of bulk, doesn’t seem much different than stock.
Those looks pretty decent actually.
I use glasses and I have never had any trouble with iems.
Thanks for the tip, I followed your advice and ordered the E1000 just for the Type E tips . I tried them on the Thieaudio Legacy 4, and I believe they have better soundstage and comfort compared to the Spinfit CP100 I used before. I also placed an order on the Spiral Dots, but I think that the Final Audio or Spiral Dots will be my “endgame” tips. I just hope I won’t have to buy a new E1000 every time I need replacement tips, lol.
Well, it does give you the excuse of trying their other E iems (thats how I ended up with their entire E series lol).

Does not compete at all, a waste of money…
The Audiosense T180 Pro at 7 times cheaper is a bit better. It has better timbre across the range and for something that should be acoustic/vocal music focused that is extremely important as it just sounds unnatural otherwise…
I just dont understand what some tuners are thinking.
Like we have some iems, with exotic drivers that sounds very unique and different. They obviously dont have a natural timbre, BUT their tuning doesnt need it. Because they arent intended to be used with more timbre picky genres (acoustic/vocals) and is going for a more fun tuning, which you can tell by the bass elevation (which wouldnt be a good match for acoustic/vocals anyway).
Then we get stuff like the TSMR - 4 pro (and the Blessing 2), that is actually trying to specialize in those timbre picky tracks by having a lower bass elevation and with a boosted treble with forward vocals which suits those tracks a lot. But stumble hard when it comes to timbre. So they end up being specialists that doesnt sound natural on the tracks they are supposed to be good with and since they dont have a big bass boost, they are not suited for tracks like EDM, trance and hip-hop where timbre isnt the top priority.
The result is that they end up without a job in a market that is getting tougher and tougher.
Created a poll about bringing back the NiceHCK ME80 earbuds since it is discontinued right now.: http://www.strawpoll.me/42665519
Please vote and if a lot of people wants it then I will ask NiceHCK to bring it back (and show the poll to them).
Found a budget option for you vocal lovers that cant handle too much treble (like on the Tin T2, Moondrop SSR) at a low price.
The Audiosense T180 pro, warm tonality with roll-offs at both end and with forward vocals. n-shaped, very relaxed and should work for a lot of people, very non-offensive. Timbre is also above average for a BA set. Tuned very well actually and it is pretty old (for chi-fi…
Although resolution and technicalities could definitely be better.
Well, this is a very well tuned BA iem. Timbre might be the best out of the BA iems I have heard, very similar to the Sony BAs.
Bass is also very good and might be my favorite out of the BA iems I have.
Mids are very natural and male vocals are great on it, female vocals do lack some brightness though.
Treble is very relaxing and non-offensive. Very atypical of knowles BA, as it isnt very aggressive as they tend to be. Although treble extension isnt that good with a noticeable roll-off in the upper-treble.
Technicalities are the biggest weakness, while soundstage isnt something I would complain about at this price. The instrument separation, imaging and details (especially micro-details) arent that good at this price. A shame, because I believe that the current market demands both tonality and technicalities, so this will bottleneck its score.

Great sounding bud but stock cable is overpriced with more downsides than benefits and overall value on the bud isnt that good because of that.
Wonder when/if we will get a Yincrow X6 upgrade…
Next up the Audiosense DT100, a very impressive BA iem that actually has a very very good bass (almost like a DD) and the timbre is also close to a well tuned DD iem.
If Audiosense makes another BA iem with that DT100 driver (side-firing BA) and more drivers overall to help with the technicalities. It could be the champion of chi-fi BA iems.
Going to come back to the Zen after the DT100.
Nice, and bro…thanks man that is the best price I have seen!!! I am in on that 1000%
Audiosense is supposed to have plans for the DT300/400/600.
If they do it right (as well tuned as the DT100/200 and with the driver from the DT100 (side-firing) as the Bass driver), that DT600 could murder their entire competition (BA iems), if price isnt overpriced that is…
Yea the side firing seems intresting, they already have others in the dt series, but if they update the config to side fireing etc. That should be interesting… I will be on the lookout for sure!
I think you are thinking about their T series (T180,260,300 and the T800).
This DT series is a newer gen. They got the DT200 and now the DT100, with plans for the DT300/400 and DT600. (which I assume is for 3, 4 and 6 BAs.)
The DT200 does not have that side-firing BA, but the timbre in that one is still very good but loses out to the DT100 in timbre and bass.
