They beat the O2 in mids/treble (and soundstage), but I wouldnt call them too similar. The Chaconne is more similar to the O2.

So, you guys might remember when I got the DQ6 and started playing around with it and managed to create my DIY foam mod?
Well, looks like there is a better and more consistent mod out there.
Both the (old) Hana and the Oxygen filter works great.
I say the Hana filter works better. But the Oxygen filter is included in the Tanya (and also sold separately on Penon) and is quite similar to my DIY foam mod (might be a bit warmer though).

I have these in my ears right now with Tanchjim Oxygen filters. I can now crank these even harder so they sound even more dynamic and intense with less heat on the treble. These are epic for metal. I’m not kidding.

Given the O2 is said to be the mids-master around 300$, having a set that is even better on miss should make me a very happy man.
Well see in 3 weeks, when I have it in my ears.
Buds are superior to iems with mids/treble and soundstage.

Mind me asking what happened to your Oracle’s that you needed to send them back?
Basically the right monitor sounded muffled and lost most volume but it went back to normal the next day, then I think there was some channel imbalance and in general it sounded like there was something off, not sure if it was the timbre or tonality, but sounded different from when I received it.

After my CIEM Legacy 3 fiasco im very hesitant to buy any Thieaudio products again, even though im sure they sound fantastic, when they work.
I actually just got back from a local audio shop and auditioned a bunch of gear, including and not limited to Campfire Andromeda, Hifiman Sundara, Audeze LCD-2C, and HD600. Also tried a few full BA sets from FlipEars(I finally really understand what everyone means by full BA sets lacking slam and punch compared to sets that have DD, the bass and sound was there but it felt lacking).
And I gotta say that I actually really really prefer the Oracle over all of the more expensive and “higher end” gear. The closest thing that compared to the Oracle was the Focal Celestee which is a thousand dollar headphone. Though take that with a handful of salt since it’s been about 2 weeks since I last listened to the Oracle and possibly was just in the honeymoon phase, but there’s just something with the tuning and the driver configuration that just makes magic in my library, ears, and brain.
I also bought a KZ DQ6 for $19 including tax and it’s pretty damn good, but still no Oracle
Also yeah, I remember seeing you talk about that and that really fucking sucks. CIEMs are a different beast altogether and come with a lot of risks, but still sucks what they did to you

I don’t have any problem with Linsoul or Thieaudio. The problem that exists is that they are too busy to properly take care of their paying customers, the same way in which you would expect from a company run from a 1st world country.
They just don’t have great customer service, thats all.
It is what it is.
So I decide not to gamble with their products no matter how good the C/P value is. If they change in the future im open to purchasing from them. Just not right now.
Understandable, especially with what happened. I just hope I get word back about my Oracle next week, they said that it might be until after the 20th, but I really hope it won’t be that long. But once all the issues are solved, it’ll be a long long while before I buy another IEM
