The upcoming Moondrop SSP might be the exception due to low cost, beryllium and waifu lol. (if the tuning is better than the SSR at the least.)
Funny enough Moondrop will release another budget DD IEM but this time using LCP driver.

I was about to pull the trigger on the LZ A6. Did not know an A7 was on the way. Very interested in your reactions once it’s out.
Oh right forgot about the Tanchjim oxygen, the FH3 didnt kill my interest in that one.
I have been interested by the oxygen for a long time now (like over a year, it was the rival to the Moondrop KXXS but picked the KXXS due to the cost lol) and with the much cheaper price during this sale I couldnt hold back lol.
It seems to have a different tuning so having both the A6 and A7 shouldnt be a waste lol.

No interest in the Legacy 3? Chris’ latest video compares it to the FH3 and prefers the Legacy 3. Unfortunately, I think mine is a dud.
Not going to give linsoul any more of my money after how they treated me.
Also not a fan of the QC issues around the L3.
I hear ya. I’d hand you my L3 if you wanted it. Don’t really ever care to listen to it again. It would just be a reminder of how mediocre it sounds. If an IEM is lacking treble for me, you know there’s something wrong.
If anyone is interested, this is a good write up about some of the Legacy 3’s problems.
At least Chris dropped the L3’s rating considerably on his tier list.

I do admit though, the Tanchjim Darling looks pretty nice.

Beautiful photography. I’m not a fan of that “pipe stuck in your ear” design. The Tin T2 never felt secure in my ears, and they appear even more substantial than these. Very pretty though.

yeah I dont particularly like the bullet style design. But it still looks pretty nice.
I believe the “Darling” is a hybrid with 1 DD + 1 BA. Which is very rare for a bullet style iem (actually I dont think I have seen any other bullet styled iem in a hybrid config, only 1 DD or 1 BA setups…)
I’m with you on that, but will the P2 be sold in other sites than Linsoul?
(And do you know a date for that and the LZ A7?)
Btw… my A6 is sounding better and better and I have only used it some 25+ hrs

Tin Hifi has a store on aliexpress and I do think it will be sold on a lot of other stores other than linsoul.
They mentioned that they had plans for the P2 this month when I asked a few weeks ago, probably been delayed since there are no news on it…
A7 is scheduled for this november.
Glad you like the A6! More people should hear them as they are spectacular, gives you that “wow” feeling everytime I use it. Even after almost having it for a year.

The A6 is growing on me, even though the fit is not optimal. The A7 seems like obvious to get, if that is a different sound as you described.
I really like my P1, so I will get the P2 if the reviews are as expected, but I want to buy it anywhere than Linsoul.

from what I understand from the prototype user on head-fi it seems to be different tuning so should be good to have both A6/A7. (not like the A6 mini/A6 were the mini is redundant after getting the A6.)
Yeah I also love the P1 (with EQ) so hope they can get the P2 to sound more like the P1 with my EQ preset.
Shouldnt have to worry about it being exclusive on linsoul.

i was almost interested in the shuoer tapes but the problem is my phone does not have a great equalizer (only like 10 bands and not a lot of depth and customization), but also i wonder if they fit what id be into with something punchy but detailed and textured
Fiio FH3 is the better choice lol.
But if you have an android, you can use the Neutron player or UAPP. They both have a great PEQ. (although if you stream your music im not sure what is available for you.)
