You got it. I have sooo many hybrids and I want to keep my hobby moving.
I’ve been breaking the Lokahi in and getting more and more used to it. The bass on the Lokahi is good to the point where I can hardly tell it’s not a DD. It’s the only all BA set I own.
This is more about having a well rounded collection and supporting a new company I have a lot of respect for. I have a feeling the SA6 is going to be a quality IEM.

I would. The Monarch is slightly warmer and the sub bass emphasis is addicting. It’s probably too much, but once you get used to it, you miss it listening to anything else. At least I do.
The EST 112 is really a great IEM and is more balanced, but the bass is more subdued and it’s generally brighter without the warmth of the Monarch. The EST 112’s bass is not as elevated, but it’s technically very detailed and textured. For my preferences, I wish the FR of the EST 112 was rotated to the right a bit.
The Monarch and Clair have huge shells. Unfortunately, the shells like to slowly find their way out of my left ear. lol The sound is fantastic though. I wish the shells were smaller. I prefer the Manarch.

You should have your eye on the Audiosense DT300 or the DT600 then. Potential is high on them if they are following the trend on the DT100/200.

They look inexpensive enough to not even have to think about the purchase to give them a shot. Will do.
The 300 and 600 are upcoming models though and no price is known.
But the DT100 has the best BA bass I have heard along with timbre. The DT200 is better for vocals though but still very good bass and timbre.
So if the 300/600 takes the best of both 100/200 and give it a lot better technicalities, it might be the best BA out there.

would you say the Clair would be the better all arounder? I find that i prefer to shuffle my library at work and im reading the Clair might be the better fit, cuz im everywhere from Classical to Metal to heavy bass music/electronic
I think its hard to beat the EST112 when it comes to versatility.

My currents are FH’3 and Legacy 3’s, really love the bass on both, one sealed sub one ported sub feel
The EST112 doesnt have a speaker like feeling though.
The Sony XBA-N3 is the most speaker (2.1) like iem to me.

Hey @Rikudou_Goku just got the LZ A6 today, very interesting IEM so far but definitely not an OH10 equivalent, exactly as you suggested.
The bass is super controlled but it will never come near the OH10 in terms of quantity because, as you mentioned, it does not respond well to EQ. It will not distort or anything, but it is like it ignores the extra dbs.
The highs on this thing are crazy though, maybe the best highs i have ever heard in an IEM in my limited experience, that + the soundstage creates a very cool sound, i just wish it had a more present bass.
I have mixed feelings about burn-in but i will give the DD some time, maybe the bass will open up a bit after burn in.
Btw, the stock cable is the worse cable i have ever saw, lol. I had to switch it over while tip rolling because it is so bad i could not stand it even for 10 minutes.

What filter are you on?
The pink one is my favorite.
And yeah, you are right about the treble being crazy good. Probably my second favorite treble, second only to the EST112 (much more natural). But DAMN is it very unique and fun sounding.
Try it with live music, really makes you feel you are there with the extreme amounts of air and huge soundstage.
Remember to have the loud button on, as it is just an overall improvement with it.

I am currently on pink as well, i tried the bass filters (purple, red and pink), i think red has way too much treble for my taste, and purple kills the mids and removes to much air from the stage, so far pinks are my favourite but i have less than 2 hours on these.
This is a VERY unique IEM indeed, some times i love them and some times i kind of don’t like them at all. But i will tell you this, i just went back to the FH3 to do a little A/B and i was super disappointed with the FH3’s highs and soundstage after hearing the A6, these completely spoiled highs and soundstage for me!
About the bass, it does look like the sub-bass is all there, both in quality and in quantity after some EQ, sounds that what is missing is some mid-bass punch. I will try a little more EQ. And ultimately i think i need some burn-in (both brain and driver).
EDIT: Just tried a couple of live tracks, wow this is impressing!

The A6 isnt meant to be a very bassy iem, so I dont think thats the kind of iem you are looking for.
But again, that treble and soundstage are exceptionally good. I believe that the A6 still got the biggest soundstage out of all my iems. And that treble is so damn enjoyable.
It was my uncontested favorite iem for an entire year, I guess you know why now lol.
For sure this is not the bassy IEM i was looking for, but i may have discovered other things i do like in IEMs, i will not put this one down any time soon, it is super interesting and i am thinking it may be an acquired taste for me. I am definitely having fun listening to it.
The only real bad thing about it is build quality, it really sucks. When i removed it from the case for the first time this happened.
I just put some super glue in the inside where the clamps go and i think it will solve the problem, not ideal but this is chi-fi for you, right? lol
…oh wow, thats really bad…
LZ doesnt really have that good QC, feels like their QC is on the level of sub 50 usd iems…
They would have been bigger otherwise, because they for sure have the sound part under control.

No kidding, from 0 to 10 my unboxing experience was a -1, that is the first thing i saw, but no harm done i was able to glue it back on and i don’t think it will ever come off again.
Which are your favorite tips for this one? So far the Radius is the best for me, this IEM really dislikes the Spinfits, it sound horrible with those.
