Yup, just wait and I (or someone else) will tell you about it.
Depends on where you are. Singapore and Japan seems like the 2 best places to be when it comes to audio since everything seems to be there and up for demoing.

Gotta admit, today’s FH5s info kinda depressed me. The tuning, the tuning switches and especially the BA in the nozzle are all turn offs for me. By the looks of it, I might prefer the originals tuning over the s.
Hi, i wanna ask something about the samsung galaxy buds plus. I wanna get something to use on the go but don’t know how it sound compare to my wired iems? Currently have tin t4, and legacy 4 is coming soon . Is the samsung good enough to use or just like trash compare to my iems
It’s not trash, I would say it’s good enough to use. Saying that… I don’t use mine galaxy buds. I bought earstudio es100 and I use my wired iems on the go.
Havent heard it, but as @init says. I would go for a bluetooth amp and then just use wired iems. You get both sound and convenience.
When it comes to wired vs wireless stuff though, it depends on how shitty your source is for the wired transducer. If you are using a regular smartphone (not LG), then these wireless stuff might be closer in performance than if you are using the wired transducer on a good source.
Since wireless stuff are more constant in performance and doesnt really depend as much on your source. Wired stuff are a lot more variable between different sources because of its dependance on the source.
I believe the only reason (or excuse) for TWS is the gym or some kind of workout. For other activities (e.g. running) the BTR5 or some sort of bluetooth source should be better (or a small DAP).
Oh right. I am using a LG G7 with my iems now, so if i buy a bluetooth dac/amp like btr5, or qudelix 5k, is the the sound going to change much?goodway or bad way?
Yes, it should improve. I never use my G7 for music anymore since I got the Fiio M11, Ibasso DX160 and now my Schiit Asgard 3.
Thanks so much. So getting a bluetooth dac/amp seem good for me instead of buying the samsung tws.
Yes, especially if you already got good iems.
Hopefully they used dampers to dampen it on the FH5S, otherwise it does look like it might be shouty…
UGH. Definitely going to wait for reviews before ordering now. Was so excited.
Yeah, keep your expectations low and be surprised rather than having too high expectations and be dissapointed. Usually a better way to look at things.
Yep. I got prematurely excited for the FH5s.
Same. Luckily I haven’t tried the fd5 yet so i can buy that one if the FH5s turns out not to live up to expectations. I must say that considering it’s FiiO, I can’t imagine the fh5s being bad. I actually haven’t really heard anyone calling any of their products bad so far.
I believe their FA lineup doesn’t have a good reputation.
They are certainly not as well received as the D and H series, but they are mediocre at worst as far as I’ve read. The FA1 sounds very decent at $99, and I want to revisit that IEM at some point with good foams to counter the suction.
I guess the question is what would make the FH5s a success at this point? The feeling is that we’re expecting it to outperform the more expensive FD5, but if it manages to match the FD5 in “quality” and the difference is purely subjective then it would be quite a feat in and off itself I think.
Edit: Now that I think about it I kinda want to get the FD5 so I have one of every series
Yeah, I would be happy if it was FD5 quality, but tuned like the FH3 so its a proper FH3 upgrade.
That’s exactly what I was expecting.
We still dont really know anything about how it sounds though.
