What’s worse Is that it is supposed to be in Stockholm and its been there for like 3 days now without moving…
DHL is so much better than FedEx…

Nice thanks for the confirmation. The only thing i really cannot find is the bass of the A6 having the same quantity of the FH3, your point makes perfect sense about the speed and tightness but even if i look for it keeping these aspects in mind i still cannot find it! lol
Now when it comes to soundstage and highs, man i listened to my Sundaras yesterday and i think i am going to have to get an upgrade. I used to love the Sundara for their soundstage and highs above all other aspects, but after some time with the A6 i almost cannot believe what i hear, how can an IEM have better highs and soundstage then a Sundara?! I may go for an Audeze LCD2C now, this IEM is just crazy, hahaha
It is there lol.
Might be one of the reasons why none of my headphones impress me the same way these iems do. A tiny iem having bigger soundstage than a massive headphone is baffling.
lol no kidding! I have just ordered the LCD2-C, it is supposed to have a completely different sound signature comparing to the Sundara, since the A6 spoiled soundstage and highs for me i will aim for a warmer and more relaxed sound signature with a more prominent bass, hopefully it will not disappoint!
Ok @Rikudou_Goku , I didnt understand your claims about KSC75 comfort…
I thought clip-on would be just weird and meh. But today I threw them into my shopping cart and man…
When i put them on, I had a feeling I did something wrong, because there was no clamp and I didnt feel anything touching my head… Well, they are just wonderful.
First acoustic song → instant love
They are godly. Nothing can beat it in comfort except speakers lol.
You can bend the clips up to a point to bring the drivers closer to the ear… My favourite pair of headphones when I wear a hat out in the sun and I do garden work!
So while the FH5s hype is currently going on, I’ve finally exchanged my late Starfield to the FD5! I also got the CP145 and the CP800 just in case if I wanna play around with the narrow nozzle. Will be spending my time enjoying it!
I finally saw 64audio iems for the first time. I didn’t get to try it though. Saw some JVC wood(?) Iems as well. Didn’t know that they’re quite the expensive ones as well. The most expensive one I saw was the JVC HA-FW01 wood iem.
Yeah, or throw in the parts express headband. Although, for my usage for it, it is better in stock since I use it for gaming (extra bass quantity is not needed and prefer an airier sound) and for voice chat it is better since comfort is better in stock for me due to less heat generation.
You lucky bastard…
Hope you like the FD5. Get some more tips, like the Final Audio Type E, Elecom EHP-CAP20 (which I use for the FD5) and the Radius Deep mount tips.
I’ll be sure to look through them! For now, I’ll be using the CP145 on it. I really have no knowledge about the 64audio iem other than it being an expensive bunch hahaha.
I didn’t have time to sit around and demo stuff due to a number of increasing cases here so I just exchanged and ducked out. The shop did just received the Aria but I don’t feel like looking at moondrop stuff for a long while after having such bad experiences with them twice in a row.
It might be a double edged sword to try the very expensive stuff like the 64audio iems. Since it might be hard to go back to your own iems after that.
Don’t tempt me please. See if the FD5 is able to survive for a month or not
Nah, just enjoy it. No need to spend more money if you are already satisfied. Unless you want to fall deeper into this rabbit hole…
Will do! Haha I won’t, but I’ll still be looking forward to see how the FH5s will fare for you guys. While I could’ve waited for reviews to come out, I just feel that getting a single DD iem would fit better for me after experiencing the Starfield.
Yeah, IMO my ideal iem would probably be a DD (bass-mids-treble) + EST (upper-treble). Since single DD´s weakness tend to be in the upper-treble area with a big roll-off.
As we can see even with some of these TOTL stuff:
That seems to usually be the case. It’s hard to find a single DD that can control the upper-treble part.
Now that I’m home and in a more relaxed setting, I always thought the FD5 had similar sound to the FH3 but just a few songs in, I’m reminded of my old budget TFZ iems instead, especially my old TFZ Exclusive 1 and No.3. Maybe cause of how V-shaped they were. Currently having a nostalgic feeling with the FD5 now and in a really good way since I used to have TFZ iems for years before moving on to moondrop and fiio this year.
Not sure how hyped I get about the FD5 if they remind you of budget TFZ iems TBH .
I always figured the FD5 was less V-shaped than the FH3 I’m still not very good at reading Frequency Graphs.
FH3 is L-shaped. While the FD5 is U-shaped to me (V-shaped to others though).
I’m only a few songs in so I’m probably too quick to judge haha. I’ll have more insight about my FD5 in a few weeks maybe. Right now, I’m gonna just enjoy my favourite tunes.
