Interesting, have no idea why they’d put pentaconn branding on tips lol. But I want to say the company was the one to develop the pentaconn name and proprietary connector standard, so if you’re seeing the name and logo, that’s going to be ndics behind it. They also own acoustune from what I know btw

What in the hell?

Could someone comment on what, exactly, this gizmo actually accomplishes?

That dual DD setup looks like the same implementation as the JH Audio Jolene.

The fact that this is still even a probability after the churn of wireless stuff is actually pretty exciting.

It’s a three-way input switch, tube-buffer, +/- 9db bass EQ (fq?)

I’ll need someone to help understand the phase-tweaking stuff to change spatial effects.

If @ZeosPantera hasn’t already ordered the Schiit Syn yet, he’s doing it wrong. This screams a Z Reviews funtime review.

I would love to see DAPs with OLED screens. I wonder why audio companies don’t do that. It can’t be too expensive right? Most cheap phones come with OLED panels with more than 60 Hz refresh rate HDR support… e.t.c. it’s not the most Important thing in a DAP but still, it would also help with battery life and eye strain.

Anyway, I really liked overall sound quality of DX320 so I can only imagine how nice the MAX varient will be (and expensive :pensive:). Hopefully, they won’t make it more bright sounding, I felt the DX320 (with stock card) was already a tiny bit bright.

its definetly gonna be interesting, finaly a reason to give a shiit about shiit again.

If anything I would love for them to use E-Ink displays. Those have an insane battery life (and looks like real paper) where the screen doesnt actually drain ANY power if you dont need to update the screen (aka, showing a static picture can be done pretty much infinitely).

true that, that would be great.
