would the stock Funk be enough to drive the HE-560v4?

Yeah, Burson and Hifiman are a great pairing. The funk is a little lacking as a headphone amp in the detail department as a bone stock funk without the upgraded opamps. Kinda lackluster without the upgraded opamps and supercharger though and that adds up quick. With a supercharger it’s like $1050 but the current deal on the new funk includes the better supercharger, more power, upgraded opamps, upgraded internal power supply and a couple other things for $800 so it’s still a lot cheaper in the scope of things. I’d bet money it’s a massive upgrade.

damn limited 100 units… (for the value pricing)

Not sure when news came on Lyr+, but Lyr3 units are closing out at Schiit if anyone has been in-market.

I’m gonna guess they’re doing the same thing they did with the Freya?

where are they listed for sale / pre-order?

They can go ahead and closeout the Freya S in silver super-hardcore, anytime. I encourage it!

On bursons site in the shop.

Really tempted by this Burson collab, the Funk would do nice for my small living room, allowing to use both headphones or speakers with my records. Just don’t really have the money right now.

Apos has new Topping E30/L30 combo. Dac has Dual akm4493S chips. (??) $149 each. I still have and occassionally use my E30, tho never heard the L30.

The L30 mk2 is a no brainer imo. Cleanest power on the market. Very high power in high and super low impedance and just 150 bucks

If they are not lying again about the power output like they did on the MK1.

Oh, didn’t check ASR today. Looks like Topping made their own L50 obsolet but maybe there will be a L50 II with the power of a A30pro.
