I won’t disagree with you about all of big data, nor do I really want to derail the thread here, but Huawei has been especially egregious with its data collection and ties to Chinese state surveillance programs, resulting in a US-wide ban.

I know, but it was as much political decision (banning one of the biggest China tech companies from one of the biggest market) as because of what you posted. But yay, I hope my topping dac does not report to Xi on what I listen to, I would be ashamed sometimes

This color scheme is cool too, but less straightforward than the red/blue combination.
Quick update on the new Dethonray Amp. L7 measured another unit and it looks like his first sample was NOT broken. It’s just an absolutlely terrible design. 3% distortion!

1200mW at 32 Ohm… All these Lake people and violectric amps are still like focused on a high voltage output for high Impedance headphones but they are becoming less and less now where even beyerdynamic changed to low Impedance with the new stuff. More power at lower Impedance for planar would be nice.
