Yes, mainland China in particular loves bright iems. Stuff the we complain to be too bright are sold the most over there and darker sets are hated there.
Tbh I prefer bright over dark.
However, bright is a good quality, I am not talking about sibilant or piercing. But then, what’s bright to my ears may be sibilant or piercing to someone else’s.
Over the years, the term “bright” has been misassociated with the terms “sibilant” and “piercing”. These days, whenever someone says something is bright, more often than not, they are referring to the bad quality of treble or upper mid-range (which makes it intolerable to listen to).
The same goes with “dark”. You automatically think of something with boomy bass and with extremely recessed mids.
I mean they might’ve put a heavier dampener on it? The render only shows the drivers so we’ll have to wait and find out.
judging by their graph, this looks worse than the FH5S, so I highly doubt they dampened it more than the FH5S.
this is the way!
gotta eliminate those bottlenecks
well, as silly as it may be, lo-fi has gotten so good that many of them actually do scale well as the sound chain quality goes up. of course, not everything scales, but so much does now that it shouldn’t be a surprise!
I can attest to this, I tried pairing Blons with EF400 and it sounds good
I was shocked to stumble into this one.
It is supposed to have more bass than the ZS10 Pro ( which was my first IEM ).
The Tempotec Serenade X does in fact support 2 way BT you turn off Hiby Link on unit and I connected my BT headphones! Sweet and easy.
LDAC
That’s stream thanks now I can cross the m50 off the list
any rumors about stealth magnet sundaras? (besides the closed back)
The Tempotec V6 is on Kickstarter now:
Kinera Celest Gumiho (10mm Square Planar Driver + 1BA) - $49
welcome to HFG, Snoopie!
Topping rack
Need!
They got this more reasonably priced one.
I’ve got that acrylic one and IMO the only real improvement is the top panel, provided that the top plate and screw are flush. I had to stop using mine at my PC once I got an element amp as it didn’t fit with the top screws being raised above the top shelf.
The feet, while a nice touch are something easily corrected for cheap. I think I grabbed a $10 set of feet for mine that worked perfectly.
Seeing what they did with the aluminum plates make me want to fabricate my own for the existing legs, not spend $200 on theirs
Yeah, I got that acrylic one as well.
Like that one too. But it is too small for mid-fi size amps. Like bf2 and soloist 3xp
