Yes ,. Seems the soloist wont fit

Bifrost 2

It’s almost impossible to beat the price of the glass shelf riser stands for larger stuff.
I’m in the market for a desktop component rack but this is way too bulky, ugly, and expensive. It’s actually surprisingly hard to find a decent desktop rack/stand/shelf that’s at least two tiers, and doesn’t waste space with thick legs/sides.
I’m just using a monitor stand. Has enough space for my amp, DAC, Pi streamer and power supplies
Attention Focal users:
I have low expectations for any 3rd party Focal pads unless it’s on the Elegias, that’s the only one I’ve heard anything good about non original pads on, a bit like Sennheiser hd6?? series headphones and 3rd party pads.
This guy also makes the only good third party 6X0 pad too, so high hopes.
I’ve recently replaced the pads on my Focal Elears(nothing wrong with the sound the original pads are just made out of the worst pad material imaginable) with a pair of Dekoni fenestrated sheepskin pads and they’re at least as good, in my opinion even a little better. But Dekoni at least publishes some rudimentary graphs of their pads so you’re able to extrapolate how they’ll work with your headphones, and I was able to choose the ones likely to be the closest to original sound. Most other aftermarket pads are advertised with the “trust me bro” level of information provided.
Ah the famous backpack guarantee level of information XD
It looks pretty good for the price!
This should be interesting
How the hell are Focal pads fitting a Grado headphone?!?
With an adapter.
I’ll say that the circumaural Dekoni pads in Velour are a lot of fun in my book.
Dont know anyone who could wear, regular Mx500, Earbuds with an over the ear cable style and get a good fit / sound. Doubt it will be different with this one. Yes, it has pre formed hooks but, depending on the stiffness, if the length and angle are not perfect for your ears the cable will pull the Earbud out.
I think it is designed quite smart in fact as the driver shell is protruding more towards the tragus of the ear and pulling down of the cable would cause it to go even more in that direction. But yes, we will see, I never had good fitting bud in my whole life
