hmm, those seem like their own style, combining iem fit with open-back. This one seems more like the KSC75 On-ear ear clip style.

Ever thought about making some yourself? RikuClips Berserker or something like the kph30 that you seem to like. Guess there are not so many OEM parts to choose from like with earbuds though…
they do say it is a minor change though.

Yes, but there are no parts to buy to make them. Closest would be those replica drivers/clips of the Koss but thats it.

Any word on what Campfire has in mind on 2/21/23? I saw on Facebook that they are prepping for an announcement of some kind.
That BLON sure has a funky looking shell …… the Kara does look very cool, I must admit. I haven’t had a clear resin shell IEM since the Shure SE215 about 9 years ago … definitely looks interesting. Looks like Chi-fi is finally back from vacation in full force.

The DD moves by far the most air yet it has the smallest tube? Design flaw or tuning. Anyone who builds speakers know the volume of the tube length & diameter where the tuning comes into play. We will see.

They have shown the Kara before, quite some time ago actually (august 2022 iirc).
Still that’s like a century in chifi. Was the last iem they released the Tanya or the 2021 Hana?

I think $500 is a tall order even for the RSV the two times I’ve had one around, but I don’t hear the magic in their mids that others do. I’m left with something sharp about the upper mids, and BA bass below. So $500 being the starting price for one BA fewer draws no interest from me at all if it follows the same tuning principles and value.
Curious about their single DDs some day.

those being the Prism, Echo, Ola and then Zero.
You are right that’s what I was talking about but the sound tube must have a effect on tuning it has to?
I know big speakers not as well versed in IEM mabye someone with deeper understanding can chime in her?
