Rumors and new releases thread

“how do we name our new products?” “just put a 1 in front of everything”

Well, sorry Q15 but G5 is way too good to return. It is exactly what I was looking for and PEQ is no longer needed.

I´m pairing it with Legend Evo and the treble finally came to live, the bass is tighter and more controlled and the overall presentation is much more clear/precise.

Synergy 100%

Answer Q15: “You´ll be back, see you in september” evillaughter

Funny how that works sometimes. I was trying to decide on a desktop DAC/Amp for my home office, and picked up the Topping DX1 as something to tide me over, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

Nice, lucky us!

I never considered a topping product because when reading reviews the topping sound is not what I am usually aiming for, but paired with a already pretty warm transducer it just matches so well

I use an l30 on my jbl l112s and can confirm the pairing is too to me 100%. L112s are considered warm so thats why i mention it.

Battery powered 4.4mm IN and OUT only analog equalizer with 5 bands for L and R separated.

Jaben Oriolus SE02 HiFi Audio 4.4mm Balanced Output Input Five Frequency Graphic Equalizer For M6 M11 PRO Portable Music Player

SE02 five frequency graphic equalizer, the gospel for players who like to play EQ (Equalizer). The 5 frequency bands of the left and right channels can be adjusted freely and independently. The frequency bands are: 63HZ, 330HZ, 1KHZ, 3.3KHZ, 10KHZ; The five frequency bands all use the ALPS sliding potentiometer, which can respectively enhance and attenuate each frequency band, and the adjustment range can reach +/-8db; SE02 has 10 independent potentiometers, pay attention! The left and right channels can be adjusted independently, both out and in are 4.4 balanced, with By pass (pass mode)/EQ switch; SE02 is not an amplifier, so there is no gain and no volume selection. The volume is mainly selected on the player or amp. The 4000 mAh battery life of the fuselage easily breaks through 10 hours.

Dyson’s headphone is available to order now. it’s sad they didn’t take advantage of the breathalizer and make it an amplified speaker that can make you sound like someone else…like on helium!

Not really interested lol, while only briefly I tried the older/amp only EF1000 and wasn’t really impressed for the price, it’s an interesting price point to go for an all in one but that dac would have to be really really really good to justify it I’d assume lol. Only way to know is to try though, I’ll give it a listen if I ever see one at a show or something (or better yet if a friend buys one I can demo, although that’s unlikely to happen lol)

was thinking it would be a candidate for testing with your speakers…pair it up with a tube amp.

Those look promising, me wants to know more!

I heard great things about the EF400 dac+amp combo though. cough @WaveTheory 's youtube video cough

Also interested in hearing that for sure, seems like a really attractive price point and received pretty positively, but 500 bucks vs 15000 bucks is a different ballgame lol, they have a lot lot lot lot tougher competition there (then again, it’s an aio, not many aio at that range for headphones worth their salt)

Also what the hell is this contraption lol. Active EQ, stereo, and built-in battery. :no_mouth: A niche within a niche… for people who want to EQ their L and R headphones separately and everywhere and pay 260$ for it?

At least it is special with separated channel. On the other side who could need this? People with hearing loss on one ear probably need a more precise solution to compensate. Maybe fixing speakers that are set up uneven like one in the corner and one not?

Last idea I had was as an alternative for the in Europe hard to get Loki / Lokius but now where the Douk Audio EQ exists this probably doesn’t make sense anymore either.
