Fiio said if their K11?R2R was popular enough they’d consider higher end models… which seems to be doing well lol

I can’t wait to pick one of these up for like $400 after someone buys it and it isn’t what they expected. It’s a Holo Cyan 2 board inside and if you couple that with a Topping volume control stage, I feel like you can’t possibly lose. They’re also $600 on Taobao right now.

Topping already implemented EQ in their mid priced D50III DAC that’s why It would make sense If a DX5 successor also gets it…but we will see…till now only wishful thinking

Nice try fiio but no. LED are a huge no for me, specially a display. Take out that cringe display, put real uvmeter, not software, take out the cosmetic LED and we will be close to something. This suffers of cringe china sindrom: looks similar to what people want but falls short because they only copy but never understand the appeal.

A new R2R DAC from Topping, was expecting Fiio to release one next after the K11 R2R. A colab with Holo Audio so very interesting.
