RMB to $

Audivina LE: $360
Ananda Unveiled: $490
HE600: $720
Fiio QX13 DAC/Amp
No bluetooth, no battery. 900mW in desktop mode.
The Jieze B ( phrasing ? ) looks decent, more PEQ bands is great.
The other part I spotted is that the 3.5mm has TRRS with support for the mic. That feature is a bit hit or miss on dongles. It is only 49mW at 16 ohms, and 34mW at ohms, so people craving power might stick with the KA11 ( 245mW at 16Ω ).
Is there a reference I dont get with the name?
hmm, why? Can it be worse somehow?
34mw@32ohm is plenty enough to drive pretty much anything still.
Just hope Fiio has polished the software more since the previous JA11 was a bit weird there…
The QX13 looks interesting, if i did not have the M21, I would have considered purchasing this.
Jieze is way too close to Jizz. I just find the Chinese to English translation unintentionally funny.
Dongles are forced to pick a path for mic support on 3.5m. Oddly most of the cheap ones ( Apple and Samsung ) tend to support TRRS, and your IEM mic just works. When you go up in price bracket they tend to either skip the feature completely like the Snowsky retro nano, or they add a mic on the unit like the BTR5.
I tend to agree, but some people really seem to want overhead.
The KA11 is my affordable pick for that purpose, and it is probably the best mW per $ for a dongle. That said on low impedence stuff, volume control can be an issue.
aaa gotcha. I guess its cuz mic support is more rare on higher end stuff so maybe they dont think its needed on higher end sources as well.
Yeah that is quite the pain if its bad…
Going to be fun for reviewers on youtube lol.
hmm, better than jcally jm20 max?
that jcally has a lot more power but does not have PEQ.
This really is a phone feature. Every IEM cable I own that has a mic, is from either Tanchjim or KZ, and on sets that were under $30 to begin with, which supports your take on which end of the market that lives in. Nobody is getting the Monarchs out to take a phone call.
haha yeah thats likely.
Btw someone in my server just tried to flash the JIEZI firmware on the older JA11 but sadly it does not unlock more filters like on the JIEZI. Both the Android and the web app still sees it as a JA11.
Makes me wonder if the JIEZI is using the same chip (KT02H20) or if its a new chip but still VERY similar enough that using the firmware on another chip does not brick it…
Now that I see the Sea Shell Pattern with the back grill I cant un see it LOL.
I saw pictures from Canjam on poeple and that set looks monstrously huge.
Also a good vintage by all accounts lol …
