It gets a lottta’ crap for it’s looks elsewhere, but for me there’s just something about that no-bullshit, pro look.
But I’m partial so…
I’ve seen it, but I really don’t understand it. I think it’s a great looking, clean functional looking piece of kit. Sort of like a Rolex Submariner- function dictating a beautiful form.

So the tuba with the walnut sides is $750, the wa6 is 700 and I can get a bottlehead crack with speed ball for $760 built and shipped. Is the wa6 a better buy at $700 or is the $50 for the tuba well worth it?
Well, you don’t have to get the Walnut sides, it won’t affect performance. I personally am still for the tuba on this one, I would say tuba for refinement, or crack + speedball for just plain fun

With people arguing and stressing out over what does and does not make differences in sound… I kind of stopped caring to be honest… lol. I mean… I’ll always try and say if something could just be placebo when I’m talking about my subjective opinions on things… but even if a sound difference is just phychoacoustic, who cares… if it sounds better, it sounds better. Life is too damn short to stress over it.
If walnut makes it sound warmer, then walnut makes it sound warmer.
I know for me… Captain Morgon definitely makes my whole setup sound better. haha

If someone really wants to get something that would increase their enjoyment and they know the truth about it, I have no issues whatsoever. I just don’t want to have people who have a tighter budget end up spending on something they think would made a difference but wouldn’t. Just want to make sure people know what they are getting into first before they drop the cash

Yea, I wouldn’t want to mislead anyone. I think as long as we are honest with ourselves, it shouldn’t matter though. And not try to BS people… with fake reasoning and so on…
